Staying true to our principles of simplicity, flexibility, and technical excellence, we have become one of the leading players in Europe in the sector.   With the rise of artificial intelligence, we have strengthened our commitment, supported by the Iliad Group, which is investing €3 billion to develop a serious, sovereign AI alternative to American and Asian giants.   Every day, thanks to our fast-growing portfolio of cloud and AI products (bare metal, containerization, serverless, AI, etc.), Scaleway proudly serves thousands of customer across the private and public sector, from corporations like France Télévisions or Hachette Livre, to fast-growing startups like Photoroom and Biolevate, to institutions like the City of Copenhagen.   📍 Our offices are located in Paris, Lille, Toulouse, Rennes, Rouen, Bordeaux and Lyon.   WHY WE NEED YOU?   Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Solutions Architect team to support our commercial expansion across international markets.   Your mission will be to guide clients through their cloud journey with Scaleway, from discovery to migration, in order to accelerate customer acquisition and deliver tailor-made technical solutions.   YOUR FUTURE TEAM   We work in a collaborative and international environment where the diversity of Scalers, combined with a spirit of sharing, helps bring new projects to life every day, advancing our ambitions together.   You will be part of a team of experienced Pre-Sales Architects, paired with Account Executives, Inside Sales Representatives, Customer Success Managers, and Business Developers, all working together to serve strategic markets.   You’ll operate closely with the Sweden-based sales team while remaining integrated within the global Solutions Architecture department.   YOUR DAILY ROUTINE   - Act as the primary technical contact during the pre-sales phase for enterprise prospects and clients - Understand customer business needs and technical constraints to design Scaleway-based architectures - Support clients throughout the discovery and migration journey until the project transitions to support - Conduct in-depth technical discovery and propose custom solutions leveraging Scaleway products - Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to address customer challenges - Drive technical workshops and proof-of-concept sessions with clients - Maintain and share knowledge on Scaleway’s evolving cloud offering - Participate in improving internal pre-sales tools and processes - Represent Scaleway at industry events and webinars when needed - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Pre-Sales practice and documentation   ABOUT YOU   HARDSKILLS - 3 to 10 years of experience in technical pre-sales or solution architecture roles - Experience working with public cloud solutions and migrations - Familiarity with container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code, or Linux systems - Solid understanding of application/server architectures and datacenter environments - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience - Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English   SOFTSKILLS - Customer-oriented with a consultative mindset - Ability to understand and translate complex technical requirements into scalable solutions - Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management abilities - Comfortable presenting to both technical and C-level audiences - Proactive, adaptable, and eager to drive innovation     WHAT YOU WILL FIND AT SCALEWAY ++++   Full remote, with regular visits at our Paris office. In this role you will have the possibility to develop as a leader and make your team shine. We will create the best and exhilarating atmosphere for both our merchants, their end-consumers, and our employees. Our Head of Merchant Success is moving into a new internal role, so we're looking for someone to lead the team and grow our merchant relationships. You'll manage four teams within Merchant Success — Merchant Support, Merchant Tech, Merchant Onboarding, and Merchant Underwriting — and work closely with Sales through the final stage of the sales cycle and into onboarding. You'll own the merchant journey, spot what needs improving, and lead the changes that get us there. WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Own the onboarding journey from contract to go-live, so merchants can start quickly * Make sure your teams deliver consistently for our merchants and deliver over their expectations * Set the strategy and roadmap for the merchant journey, and drive improvements in your teams and across the wider organisation * Act as an interface between merchants and the product organization to identify whether current needs are being met by the product, and any new requirements the merchants may develop over time * Support Sales and Key Account Managers in closing deals and ensuring friction free product integration * Support your team on Merchant Onboarding projects WE BELIEVE THAT YOU: * Have previous experience som Customer Success organisations, preferably within scaling SaaS companies * Have worked with improving and automising onboarding flows * You have previous experience from leading teams, it's a plus if you have led teams as a second level manager before * Previous experience from working within Payments is a clear advantage * Have the ability to participate in strategic discussions and translate them into actionable goals for your team * Can communicate efficiently across departments, and seniority levels to enable effective collaboration with team members, peers, and C-level management * Act as a role model within AI adoption, inspiring your teams how they can increase efficiency and improve ways of working (at Qliro we use Claude) * Are fluent in spoken and written English, and Swedish.
