Du får arbeta med avancerade Windowsbaserade applikationer som används för att styra, övervaka och utveckla företagets produkter och produktionsprocesser. Rollen passar dig som trivs med att lösa tekniska utmaningar, vidareutveckla befintliga system och bidra till robusta mjukvarulösningar i en innovativ och teknikintensiv miljö.
Du blir en del av ett mjukvaruteam som ansvarar för utveckling och vidareutveckling av Windowsbaserade applikationer som används i företagets produkter och produktionsmiljö. Systemen är en viktig del av verksamheten och används för att styra, övervaka och integrera olika delar av den tekniska lösningen.
Rollen passar dig som uppskattar att arbeta med hela livscykeln – från utveckling och implementation till testning, felsökning och kontinuerliga förbättringar. Du kommer att arbeta i en modern .NET-miljö och samarbeta nära kollegor inom bland annat mekatronik, vision och data engineering för att säkerställa robusta och välfungerande system.
Du blir en viktig del av ett team som kontinuerligt arbetar med att förbättra kodkvalitet, testbarhet och utvecklingsprocesser, samtidigt som ni vidareutvecklar befintliga lösningar och bygger nya funktioner.
Dina arbetsuppgifterUtveckla och underhålla applikationer i C#/.NET och WPF.
Implementera nya funktioner och vidareutveckla befintliga system.
Skriva och underhålla enhets-, integrations- och regressionstester.
Felsöka och analysera problem genom kod, loggar och reproducerbara testfall.
Arbeta med Git, Pull Requests och code reviews.
Bidra till förbättringar inom automatiserad testning, CI och utvecklingsprocesser.
Förbättra loggning, diagnostik och dokumentation.
Samarbeta med andra utvecklingsteam kring integrationer och tekniska gränssnitt.
Vi söker dig somHar en högskole- eller civilingenjörsexamen inom datateknik, mjukvaruutveckling eller motsvarande, alternativt har byggt upp motsvarande kompetens genom arbetslivserfarenhet.
Har erfarenhet av utveckling i C# och .NET.
Har erfarenhet av Git och moderna utvecklingsflöden.
Har arbetat med testning, felsökning och underhåll av mjukvara.
Kommunicerar obehindrat på svenska och engelska.

Role Overview We are looking for a Software Engineer with a passion for building software that interacts directly with hardware, someone who thrives on technical complexity and cares deeply about secure, scalable code. You will design, build, and maintain our biometric identity platform: integrating with hardware (fingerprint readers, document scanners, cameras, etc.), media processing components, and ensuring high quality and compliance every step of the way. This role is based on-site at Slakthusgatan 9. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain core components of the biometric platform using C#/.NET Framework. Integrate new hardware sensors and devices into middleware and API services. Ensure software is secure, stable, and performant. Collaborate with QA, Product, and Operations to deliver high-quality releases. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and share best practices. Tackle performance issues, debugging, and optimization. Participate in architectural planning, guide development of distributed systems, reusable components. Qualifications Master’s degree in computer science, electronics, mechatronics, engineering, or a related field 5+ years of professional experience in software development with Windows / .NET technologies. Hands-on experience developing software for hardware-based products or integrating software with physical devices (e.g. sensors, cameras, scanners, or other peripherals) Proven track record integrating hardware and software components. Strong understanding of SDKs, APIs, distributed systems, and software architecture. Deep commitment to quality: test-driven development, secure coding, and maintainable code. Experience working in agile teams and collaborating across disciplines. Excellent communication skills in English; ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with device communication protocols, driver integration, or firmware interaction is a plus. Experience working with WPF is a plus.
