På AFRY arbetar vi i externa uppdrag där vi utvecklar och förbättrar produkter för både nationella och internationella kunder inom flera olika branscher. Som Test Automation Engineer får du en central roll i att öka kundens automatiseringsgrad genom att utveckla och implementera effektiva testlösningar och testfall.

Arbetet sker både hos kund och på vårt kontor i Solna, vanligtvis 3–5 dagar i veckan beroende på uppdrag.
Eftersom vissa av våra uppdrag är inom säkerhetsklassad verksamhet kan det krävas svenskt medborgarskap och godkänd säkerhetsprövning och registerkontroll.
Vi söker dig som har ett öga för detaljer och trivs med att arbeta både självständigt och i team. Du tar gärna ansvar och driver ditt arbete framåt, samtidigt som du bidrar med din problemlösningsförmåga och ditt analytiska tänk. Du har erfarenhet av att hantera och rapportera testresultat på ett strukturerat och tydligt sätt, och du känner dig bekväm i att delta i tekniska diskussioner i tvärfunktionella team.
För att trivas i rollen tror vi att du har följande bakgrund och erfarenheter:
Minst 5–10 års erfarenhet av testautomatisering, gärna i större organisationer.
Relevant högskoleutbildning eller motsvarande yrkesutbildning/yrkesvana.
Erfarenhet från offentlig sektor och/eller Försvarsmakten.
Erfarenhet av automatiseringsverktyg såsom Postman, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI eller liknande
Programmeringskunskaper i Java, JavaScript, Python eller liknande.
Certifiering: ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation
Erfarenhet av agilt arbete, till exempel via ramverk som SAFe
Mycket goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både i tal och skrift
Svenskt medborgarskap och möjlighet att genomgå säkerhetsprövning
Erfarenhet av hårdvarutestning och att skapa teststrategier.
Erfarenhet av att ta fram testautomatiseringsramverk.
Erfarenhet av användning av AI i testarbete.
Erfarenhet av tester av icke funktionella krav, såsom robusthet, säkerhet och prestanda.

We are currently looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in test strategy, automation, and end-to-end validation across web and mobile platforms. This role combines hands-on testing with strategic quality enablement in a distributed, cross-team environment. Role Overview You will be responsible for planning and executing Product, Integration, E2E, and Regression testing across web and mobile applications (Android & iOS). The role includes automation design, CI/CD integration, cross-team QA coordination, and mentoring. Responsibilities (and Duties) • A&T team member responsible for the Powertrain test rig, contributing to the design and leading the assembly, test and operation of the Powertrain test rig. • Carry out the verification of the specifications of the functional + software requirements, covering all the test rig functions • Carry out the grid connected EES verification (net consumer) • Carry out the grid compliance verification (generation connection) • Develop test automation and maintain monitoring of test rig • Maintain functional testing resources under operational conditions. • Clearly communicate issues, successes, and challenges through regular activity reports. • Use your electronic & mechanical skills and experience to design and participate in test benches • Support test data analysis and reduction to assess performance and function, identify anomalies, and assisting with data needed to validate analytical or finite element models • Prepare test plans, reports, and technical documentation, clearly summarizing methods, results, and conclusions. • Collaborate with design, analysis, and manufacturing teams to resolve structural issues and support design improvement Qualifications and skills • A power electronic background with proved experience on inverters, generators, battery management systems (software experience a plus) • Languages: Proficient in English verbally and in writing • More than 5 years proven as a test engineer for test rigs with inverters, generators and battery management • More than 3 years proven experience of EES and grid compliance verification • Ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes of problems. • Strong Communication skills, both orally and in writing, and enjoy working in a business-related role with several contact points • You can work independently, be proactive and thrive in a fast-growing company.
