Constructor University Bremen has appointed Prof. Sir Kostya Novoselov — Nobel Laureate in Physics (2010), FRS — as its President.
In this strategic, part-time capacity, Prof. Novoselov provides intellectual direction, institutional prestige, and global
scientific vision while retaining his primary commitments at NUS and IFIM.
The Chief of Staff (CoS) reports exclusively to the President and exists to amplify his impact, protect his time, and translate
intellectual strategy into institutional momentum. This is the single point of coordination between the President's agenda and the
University's executive, academic, and administrative functions.
This is a role for someone who thrives on complexity, operates with total discretion, thinks three moves ahead — and finds genuine
satisfaction in making an exceptional mind more effective.

Are you hungry to get your hands dirty and gain real startup experience? At doinstruct, you'll sit next to doinstruct's founders and the Chief of Staff for 3-6 months, not shadow from the sidelines. You decide which workflows are worth automating, build them yourself, and ship. Every project you take on has to clear one bar: a 3-5x return in hours saved, revenue generated, or decisions unblocked. If it doesn't clear that bar, we don't build it. Quick Facts: 🗓️ Start date: Flexible ⏳ Duration: 3-6 months 📍 Location: Prenzlauer Berg near Senefelder Platz (U2), Berlin. In-office, at least 4 days a week. 🧑🚀 Reports to: Founders Charlotte and Mona 💼 Level: Internship, generalist with builder DNA 🛠️ WHAT YOU'LL DO * Work directly with leadership on cross-functional initiatives across GTM, Product, and Ops. * Find the highest-leverage workflows in the company, redesign them around Claude agents, MCPs, and Skills, ship them, measure the lift. * Build the automations yourself, in Claude Code, GitHub, n8n or Zapier, and directly inside HubSpot and Notion. * Own projects end to end: brief, plan, execute, retro. 🤖 HOW WE WORK * Pick your Claude tool by what the problem needs: Cowork for anything multi-step and messy, Code when something has to run, Sonnet or Opus for the genuinely hard stuff, Haiku for volume. * Anything you'd do twice gets checked into GitHub as a skill or an agent, so it's still there after you move on. * "Claude said so" doesn't fly here. "Claude said so, here's how I checked" does. * You don't need a CS degree. You do need to be comfortable opening a terminal and figuring it out. 📈 WHERE THIS CAN LEAD A strong internship is the fastest path into a full-time Founder's Associate or functional role at doinstruct. Not guaranteed, but real. 🧭 WHO YOU ARE * Top 5% of your peers, provable through founding experience, a leadership track record, grades (3rd semester+, 1.8+ GPA), or an unusual builder résumé. * 2+ internships at a top startup, consultancy, VC/PE, or investment bank, or equivalent founding experience. * AI-native, not AI-curious. You already use Claude, Cursor, or similar day to day, and you've shipped at least one prototype or automation, or you're ready to ship your first one in week 1. * You measure impact in hours saved and revenue generated, not slides produced. * Real empathy for blue-collar and frontline work. Time in food, manufacturing, construction, or logistics is a plus, not a requirement. * Fluent in German and English. 🎁 WHAT WE OFFER * Direct impact: your work reaches thousands of frontline workers, and shows up in company metrics within your first weeks. * Full ownership from day one on projects that would normally sit with someone years more senior. * Competitive intern compensation: this isn't an unpaid internship, we expect a lot and pay accordingly. * The AI tooling budget you'd expect: Claude Max, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, n8n or Zapier. * Backed by over €25M in Seed & Series A funding from HV Capital, Creandum, HTGF, and D11Z, so the runway matches the ambition. ____ At doinstruct, you can make full use of your skills and play an active role in the further development of our start-up. And yes, we attach great importance to a positive working atmosphere, maximum transparency, communication at eye level, and support every step of your personal and professional development. Even if you don't tick all of the boxes, but you are motivated and want to work with us, you are very welcome to apply. We embrace diversity and hire people based on their ability to perform a job. People of any race, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, political opinion, or marital status are welcome at doinstruct. _ For questions or remarks please reach out to our Talent Acquisition Manager, Leonard, at leonard.mielke@doinstruct.com.
