About the role
As a Junior Business Scientist, you will be working on challenging projects with international blue-chip clients across diverse industries, on both advanced data analytics and consulting, including meeting with clients and building bespoke solutions to face their challenges. You will be working in teams of 3 to 6 Business Scientist, on 1 to 3 projects simultaneously.
You’ll be involved in projects from first discovery meetings all the way to final recommendations, gathering and analyzing data, building statistical models, translating quantitative insights into strategic recommendations. You will have the opportunity to be creative and suggest innovative approaches, and well as being pushed to grow into taking ownership of your projects.
You’ll be able to present your results and will be exposed to C-suite clients.
You’ll build expertise on several methodologies and industries and develop an exceptional combination of both technical and business skills. You will be accompanied in your learning process through our training program as well as through coaching and mentoring from colleagues. You will have high exposure to each member of our close-knit team, including the General Manager, Shanghai, who is leading the growth of this entity.

About the role As a senior Business Scientist, you will be leading challenging projects with international blue-chip clients across high-profile presentations to senior clients. You will be working in teams of 3 to 6 Business Scientists, on 2 to 3 projects simultaneously. The primary focus of the senior consultant’s work will be to drive high client value and broaden relationships at the most senior levels with current and prospective clients and translate this into new business opportunities for Ekimetrics. The senior Business Scientist will be leading projects from the first discovery meetings all the way to final recommendations, responsible for gathering and analyzing data, building statistical models, translating quantitative insights into strategic recommendations, and delivering the final results as a persuasive story. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop the more junior members of the team to be able to do high impact work across core areas of the clients’ businesses. Finally, the successful candidate will be expected to drive development initiatives and new thought-leadership, transfer knowledge to junior team members, and continue to build Ekimetrics reputation and brand in Asia. 1. Ekimetrics Life: · Help lead our fast growth by contributing to local and global initiatives such as Thought-Leadership, Knowledge Management, Recruitment, Culture, Gender Balance and Diversity teams, Pioneering Machine Learning/AI techniques for the office, etc. About You The successful candidate will have a balance of marketing and business strategy understanding, client-facing business service experience, and significant data and analytics expertise. The work will be rooted in the creation of innovative analytic engagements for clients. About The Role As a data team associate, you will support the data team in daily data collection, collation and cleaning, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. You will work alongside the core data team on routine tasks and ad-hoc data-related assignments. The primary focus of your work will be to assist in building reliable data foundations: this includes participating in data report creation/updates, supporting data visualization (e.g., Excel charts, basic BI tool use), and aiding in data research & analysis—summarizing findings into preliminary reports to inform business decisions. You will also help maintain data documentation: classifying and filing data materials to standardize data assets. Additionally, you will support the upskilling of junior peers (where applicable) by sharing basic data processing practices. The role We’re looking for a CMF Senior Strategist to join our Consumer Tech global content team and become an integral part of our content function. With a visionary attitude, this Senior Strategist-level role will have significant research, design and product development experience within CMF (colour, material, and finish) and application processes, with proven success in the design and development of products in consumer electronics, home appliances, or automotive industries. Experience working with automotive, fashion and/or interior CMF applications is a plus. Revelant technical knowledge of material technology and processes within the product design, consumer electronics, home appliance and automotive industries is vital.
