Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform
helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating
with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from
anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
The Figma Research team is hiring an Director, Research - AI Evals to own how we measure the quality of Figma's AI-powered
experiences. As Figma ships more AI capabilities across our products, the question "is this really good?" has never mattered more
— and answering it rigorously is what this role exists to do. You'll define what "good" means for our AI features, build the
frameworks and quality bars to measure it, and turn that into trusted signal that product teams rely on to decide what to ship.
The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on experience evaluating AI/LLM-powered products — blending human evaluation with
automated, model-based approaches — along with the product instinct and communication skills to make evaluation genuinely useful.
Partnering with Product, Design, Engineering, and Data Science, you'll sit upstream of nearly every AI shipping decision at Figma
and directly shape the quality of features used by millions of people.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop
their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the
job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

You will work closely with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to shape how CUBE goes to market globally. ABOUT ANTHROPIC Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. DIRECTOR, GLOBAL ORDER-TO-CASH TRANSFORMATION San Francisco, CA | New York City, NY | Seattle, WA ABOUT ANTHROPIC Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for an operational leader to partner with engineering, finance and accounting operational leaders to transform Anthropic's global order-to-cash (O2C) function. Our business is scaling faster than the processes and systems that support it, across direct enterprise contracts, consumption-based commercial models, and third-party cloud marketplaces. This role is a key partner with the end-to-end redesign: how orders are structured and provisioned, how transactions flow through our systems, how revenue is billed and recognized, and how all of it stays controlled and auditable as volume compounds. This is a builder's role with a broad remit. You'll help set the multi-year Global O2C roadmap and then manage the critical aspects such as designing front-to-back processes, standing up automation and AI-driven tooling where manual work doesn't scale. Facilitating programs that cut across Finance, Go-to-Market, Legal, Accounting, Tax, and Engineering. If you're energized by ambiguous, high-consequence operational problems at a company at the forefront of AI development, we'd like to hear from you. RESPONSIBILITIES GLOBAL O2C STRATEGY & TRANSFORMATION * Be a key contributor to the vision, roadmap, and execution of Anthropic's global order-to-cash transformation, spanning order management, provisioning, billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition * Assess the current state end-to-end, identify the structural constraints on scale, and sequence a prioritized program of work with clear milestones, owners, and measurable outcomes * Build the operating metrics and reporting that make O2C performance legible to leadership — cycle times, error and rework rates, touchless transaction rates, revenue leakage, and cost to serve * Serve as the senior operational voice in commercial and pricing workflows, translating what the business wants to sell into what we can actually transact, bill, and recognize PROCESS DESIGN & OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE * Design scalable, controlled processes from the ground up, applying structured process design and continuous improvement methodology rather than incremental patching * Standardize and harmonize O2C processes globally across regions, entities, channels, and business models, eliminating the one-off exception handling that accumulates in high-growth environments * Establish clear operating rhythms, escalation paths, and service levels across the quote-to-cash lifecycle, with documentation that holds up as the team and transaction volume grow * Build the operational infrastructure that lets the function absorb order-of-magnitude growth without a proportional increase in headcount * Build compliance monitoring into the systems, including SOX controls, themselves so that controls scale with volume rather than headcount SYSTEMS, AUTOMATION & AI * Help drive the O2C systems architecture and roadmap in partnership with O2C Leadership, Engineering and GTM Systems, defining requirements, prioritizing investment, and holding the line on scalable solutions over point fixes * Deploy AI and automation to drive real leverage across the function — automated exception handling and reconciliation, self-service reporting and anomaly detection, and continuous rather than sample-based control monitoring * Lead global automation strategy and evaluation across billing, contracting, and ERP platforms, and drive the implementations and migrations that follow CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP * Drive alignment and results across Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, GTM Systems, Sales Operations, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Engineering, influencing outcomes without relying on direct authority * Partner with high-performing operations teams, setting standards, developing talent, and scaling capacity through a mix of employees, contractors, and partners * Communicate progress, trade-offs, risks, and decisions crisply to executive stakeholders, and surface issues early with a recommended path forward YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE * 10+ years of progressive experience leading operational transformations within Revenue Operations, Billing Operations, or other finance operational teams at high-growth SaaS/technology companies, including experience leading cross-functionally * Expert understanding of process design, cross-functional project management, and scaling systems — including using AI to drive automation, reporting, and compliance * Project management certification (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt * Expert understanding of quote-to-cash processes for SaaS, covering both subscription and consumption-based business models across B2B products * Extensive experience with contracting systems, billing platforms, and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Stripe, NetSuite, Oracle, Workday Financials, Zuora) * A proven track record leading large-scale strategic and automation initiatives end-to-end, from business case through implementation and adoption * Experience building and developing operations teams * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO HAVE * Experience serving both B2C and B2B customers; especially with consumption-based, subscription billing models through to collections * Experience with go-to-market, deal desk and revenue operations organizations * Experience designing and implementing processes with robust internal controls, segregation of duties frameworks and flow of financial transactions in high-growth environments * Understanding of AI industry business models and enterprise customer needs The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $230,000—$300,000 USD LOGISTICS Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. COME WORK WITH US! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
