(SENIOR) MANAGER DIGITAL FINANCE – LUCANET (M/W/D)

We’re looking for a driven and analytical (Junior) Finance Manager (FP&A) to join our Finance team in Berlin. In this role, you’ll take ownership of core financial planning and analysis activities, including monthly management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate data into insights that shape strategic decisions. Your mission: You’ll play a key role in scaling and professionalizing our Finance function. This includes continuously improving our FP&A processes, increasing automation across reporting and forecasting workflows, and leveraging modern tools including AI-driven solutions to enhance data quality, speed, and decision-making. You’ll gain broad exposure to all of Hive’s markets, service offerings, and financial dynamics, developing a strong understanding of how each contributes to our overall business model and long-term growth. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Own and continuously improve monthly management reporting, including KPIs, variance analyses, and business performance insights * Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning, improving accuracy and transparency * Build and maintain financial models to support strategic, investment, and operational decisions * Automate and scale FP&A processes, including improving data structures, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses to enable accurate, data-driven decision-making * Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate operational data into actionable financial insights YOUR PROFILE We know—you might not tick every single box. If this role excites you and you see yourself growing into it, we’d still love to hear from you. * Relevant Experience: You bring 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a finance or analytical role, backed by a solid academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. * Strong Analytical Skills: Structured thinker with a passion for numbers, able to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights * Advanced Technical Tooling: You bring strong expertise in Google Sheets and SQL; familiarity with Lucanet, Datev, or similar finance systems is an advantage. * Automation & Tech Mindset: You’re curious about process automation and AI, and motivated to reduce manual work through smarter tools and workflows * Startup Mentality & Communication: Hands-on, proactive, adaptable, and confident working cross-functionally with both finance and non-finance teams. * Fluent in English: Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting (German is a plus, not a requirement) OUR OFFERING * Build something that matters: Hive is redefining commerce operations in a €200B+ market. You’ll work closely with customers to identify opportunities in our Financial Management products, size them, and then work with engineering to bring them to life. Product Managers at Plaid own the end-to-end problem that they are trying to solve with their team. You will set the product direction, drive new capabilities into our core offering and you will ensure sound strategic direction and effective detailed plans are in place from architecture to operations to go-to-market. The ideal candidate has led technical, API-based B2B products, has an extreme attention to detail, concisely communicates complex concepts, and is able to operate independently and make bold, informed decisions without waiting for perfect information. Responsibilities: * Discovering new problems and applications for Financial Management products. Our products are used across numerous, constantly evolving customer segments and use cases – you’ll have the opportunity to build on the leading edge of data products. * Collaborate with Engineering and Design to ship intuitive, high-quality experiences that drive enterprise value * Balance qualitative feedback & intuition with quantitative success metrics to drive high-quality decisions. Own and report on success metrics like product adoption and ARR * Delivering value at scale. Our products reach thousands of customers and millions of consumers, so you’ll have the opportunity to create widespread positive impact. * Long-term strategy and vision setting. You’ll define the path forward for your product area, and inspire stakeholders to help execute on your vision. * Collaboration and teamwork. You’ll work across a highly cross-functional team of engineering, data science, product marketing, and more to collectively deliver meaningful solutions. * Be the face of your product both internally and externally Qualifications: * 4+ years of product management experience in a B2B context * Prior experience influencing pricing & packaging for their products * Experience directly participating in sales and account management conversations * Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering & Design * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences * Data-driven decision-making mindset; comfortable using both qualitative feedback and quantitative metrics to prioritize work. * Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and building 0→1 initiatives.
