Currently we are looking for: RtR Accountant in Cash Management Team Be part of the movement - and play your part. About the role: In your role as an RtR Accountant you will be responsible for managing the flow of money into and out of a company, making sure outgoing payments are made on time and bank accounts are reconciled every month. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will involve close collaboration with Treasury, PtP, OtC and Master Data departments. Your main scope of duties and responsibilities will be to: * Month end bank accounts reconciliation for multiple entities * Processing of automatic and manual payments * Posting and clearing of banking transactions for various bank accounts * Resolving operational issues within Payment area * Preparation of reports for Group Treasury * Main contact for local finance teams for any banking query * Develop, improve and maintain good relationships with local business units and banking counterparties * Maintaining high quality of appropriate process documentation (process maps, procedures) About you: We would like you to have: * At least 1-2 years of experience in Finance/Banking/Treasury area * Very good command of English * Precision and attention to details * Good problem solving skills * Ability to work under time pressure and to prioritize your tasks * Proactive attitude and engagement for continuous improvement Working at DFDS: Be a valued member of a diverse team at DFDS and help drive change together. About the Role: As a Student Assistant in our Record-to-Report (RtR) Department, you will support daily accounting and financial reporting activities while gaining hands-on experience in a global finance environment. Working closely with experienced team members, you will contribute to month-end closing, financial data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and finance projects, helping to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of RtR operations. Your main tasks will include: * Assisting with month-end closing activities (journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations) * Validating and analyzing financial data to ensure reporting accuracy * Supporting intercompany invoice processing and costing * Helping improve and streamline accounting and financial reporting procedures * Updating internal financial documentation * Participating in finance projects to optimize departmental processes We're looking for students (preferably part-time) who: * Are available to work min. 30-35 hours per week both during and after the holidays. * Are currently studying Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field * Demonstrate strong accuracy and attention to detail * Have solid working knowledge of MS Excel * Enjoy working in teams and collaborating with others * Are confident using English (both spoken and written) and Polish (min B2) * Bring a positive attitude and a good sense of humor :) What We Offer: * Contract of mandate (umowa zlecenie) for a period of 3 or 6 months (with the possibility of extension and transition to a full-time employment contract) * Valuable work experience in a multinational company * Opportunities to discover your career path and grow within the finance field * Practical, hands-on knowledge to support your studies * Flexible schedule to fit around your studies * Monthly salary for your work and commitment * Scandinavian work culture our company values equality, teamwork, and a healthy work-life balance.
