If you are a skilled paramedic looking for an opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced setting, this position could be a great fit for you.  YOUR IMPACT   * Patient Care & Triage: Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs. * Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared, while supporting providers during testing and procedures. * Clinical Procedures: * Perform diagnostic and testing procedures, including vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol testing, spirometry, and more. * Execute point-of-care testing such as strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid panel, and urinalysis. * Provide cardiac and airway management, including ECGs, AED use, nebulizer treatments, and oxygen administration. * Deliver wound care assessments, immunizations, and medication administration per federal and state regulations. * Patient Engagement & Documentation: Assist with patient inquiries, communicate test results, and explain medication or therapy plans. * Maintain accurate electronic medical records, documenting patient histories and treatment details. * Observe and report changes in patients' conditions, taking necessary action as needed. * Clinic Operations: * Ensure medical instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and maintained per organizational policies. * Maintain a stocked and sterile workspace, supporting smooth clinic operations. * Collaboration with Clinical Team: Work closely with other members of the clinical team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care. * Communicate effectively and efficiently with providers and other healthcare professionals to relay patient information and updates. * Welcome and support the training of new team clinic team members.  REQUIRED AVAILABILITY   * Must be able to work 12-hour shifts in consecutive and or non-consecutive days: * For full-time: Must be able to work three (3) 12-hour shifts a week with at least four (4) shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday. * For part-time: Must be able to work two (2) 12-hour shifts per week with at least two (2) shifts a month on a Saturday or Sunday. * For per diem: Must be able to work four (4) 12-hour shifts per month, ideally working one (1) shift each week.   * Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays. * If needed, must be able to work at a minimum of three (3) other ConvenientMD locations within a one (1) hour travel distance from your primary clinic. * Required to travel for training shifts which may occur outside of your primary clinic within a one (1) hour commute.   WHO YOU ARE   * Education: High school diploma or GED required. * Certification and demonstrated prior experience: Licensed paramedic (preferably nationally certified) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs. * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. Position Purpose:   The Senior IT Applications Specialist (PMIS) is responsible for the end-to-end management, governance, and optimization of Project Management Information System (PMIS) and related platforms. The role leads solution delivery, oversees vendor performance, and provides technical and strategic guidance to support enterprise application performance and evolution.    What You Will Do:    * Lead application lifecycle management including governance and continuous improvement.  * Oversee implementation of enhancements, upgrades, and releases.  * Lead resolution of complex issues and escalations.  * Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions.  * Lead solution delivery including design oversight and implementation support.  * Manage vendor performance, contracts, and service delivery against SLAs.  * Identify risks and improvement opportunities to enhance application value.  * Develop reporting and insights on application health and performance.  * Contribute to application roadmap planning and alignment with priorities.    Who You Are:    * University degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline an asset.  * Strong experience with Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).  Experience with Kahua PMIS would be an asset  * Several years of experience in application management or systems analysis.  * Experience managing enterprise applications across the full lifecycle.  * Understanding of large-scale infrastructure projects, including exposure to Engineering, Procurement and Construction business processes (i.e. RFI’s, Submittals, Change Orders and Scheduling)  * Experience leading solution delivery across cross-functional teams.  * Experience managing vendors and service performance.  * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  * Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.  * Experience with Agile, cloud platforms, or enterprise systems is an asset.    What We Offer:     * Commitment to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture that promotes a sense of belonging and represents and reflects the needs of the communities we serve.   * A Defined Contribution Pension Plan, with Infrastructure Ontario contributing the equivalent of 5% of a full-time employee’s annual salary and will also match any employee contribution up to an additional 5% of their annual salary.
