JOB OVERVIEW: The ESPI (EPIC Specialty Programs Insurance) Programs Division at EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants delivers specialized insurance solutions through program management, risk assessment, and customized coverage. Our team works closely with clients to understand their needs, mitigate risk, and enhance their insurance portfolios, leveraging strong insurer relationships and deep industry expertise. The book is middle market to large, complex accounts and mostly consists of clients who are in the auto dealership or golf industries. The Assistant Client Manager is a junior-level role but takes on meaningful, technical tasks for the client management team. In this fast-paced, deadline driven environment, this role provides essential administrative support to the Client Managers. LOCATION: HYBRID in Newport Beach, CA - Role must work in-office 3 days a week WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: * REQUIRED: Candidates with at least 2+ years of insurance industry (specifically property & casualty) experience. * Individuals with strong attention to detail, time management, and data entry skills - this role is highly focused on executing tasks to support the client management team. * Candidates with strong, professional communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills, who enjoy providing top-notch service to internal and external customers in a fast-paced environment. * Positive and outgoing disposition, eager to work as a team but also functions well working independently. WHAT YOU’LL DO: A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to): * Works with Client Managers in the ESPI Programs Division to efficiently and effectively service clients. * Consistently establishes and maintains high levels of trust and confidence with clients by initiating introductions, through periodic contacts, and by promptly responding and resolving client questions and issues; • Process Certificates of Insurance, endorsements, order loss runs and other items related to the servicing of client accounts in a timely and accurate manner; • Inform and educate clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs. Assist clients in making coverage changes; • Meet all quality and timeliness standards in the Agency Management System while properly documenting all activity; • Other duties may be assigned. Marketing * Submit applications with proper supporting documentation and follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotes and policies; • Knowledge and experience with a variety of carrier on-line systems, including but not limited to BHHC, ICW, SCIF, AMTrust • Provide technical support in the sales process as needed • Other duties may be assigned. Personal and Organizational Responsibilities * Set priorities and manage workflow for self to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all responsibilities; • Maintain cordial and effective relations with clients, co-workers, carriers, wholesalers, vendors, and other business contacts; • Maintain documentation and records; • Interact with others effectively utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance as needed to achieve the business goals of the Company; • Stay informed regarding industry information, new product/program developments, coverages, legislation, technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance; • Other duties may be assigned. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. One or four years of college or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Knowledge of multi-line Property & Casualty insurance products and services. • Experience with Agency Management Systems, rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and write assigned clients and prospects. • Sagitta Agency Management System and/or PaperWise software experience a plus. Experience with paperless procedures preferred. • Proficiency with a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires teamwork, demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: • Valid Property & Casualty Insurance license, or ability to get one within 90 days of hire. COMPENSATION: Non-Exempt: The hourly pay range for this position is $30.77 – $38.46 per hour and standard workweeks are 37.5 hours. This range represents the employer’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Own and manage Strava Group’s global AP and T&E function end-to-end, including full-cycle invoice processing and PO management in ZipHQ, corporate card and stipend programmes via Mesh Payments, and travel operations through Navan * Lead and develop a distributed AP team including US-based direct reports, setting clear expectations, maintaining a strong team cadence, and supporting their growth * Drive the completion of AP integration for all subsidiaries — taking on full ownership of all entities invoice processing, vendor management, and related procure-to-pay (P2P) processes * Build the data infrastructure the function doesn’t yet have: design and deliver AP health dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility into invoice aging, payment cycle times, approval SLAs, and exception rates * Lead procurement process transformation in partnership with cross functional teams including improving PO compliance, vendor onboarding, and the overall P2P experience for teams across the company * Own the AP sub-ledger end-to-end, including balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end accruals, ensuring clean PO and invoice data that the GL team can rely on at close * Champion AI adoption and automation within AP operations globally identifying and implementing tooling that improves throughput, reduces manual work, and scales the function * Own AP controls documentation and SOX readiness, to build and maintain a clean, audit-ready control environment WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM * Proven 7+ experience owning an AP function end-to-end at a global or multinational company, specifically as function owner, not just executor, with accountability for the full P2P and T&E lifecycle * A track record of fixing a broken procurement or P2P process; you’ve navigated cross-functional resistance, driven adoption, and left the process measurably better * Deep ownership of AP GL accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations and accruals, with a clear understanding of how PO data quality affects the close * Experience building AP metrics and dashboard infrastructure from scratch; you’ve designed the reporting, not just consumed it * Hands-on experience with modern AP/P2P platforms such as ZipHQ or equivalent, a T&E tool such as Navan, and corporate card management (Mesh, Ramp, Brex, Concur, or similar) * Experience managing a distributed team across geographies and timezones, with a demonstrated ability to develop people you don’t see in person every day * Exposure to SOX compliance and IPO readiness in an AP or finance operations context; you understand control documentation, segregation of duties, and what audit-ready looks like * Experience with AI or automation tooling in a finance context is a plus, especially experience with with using Claude to drive automation & productivity * Multi-entity, multi-currency AP experience spanning EMEA and US entities For more information on benefits, please click here. THE FIRM Anthony Gold is a boutique firm based in London Bridge and Streatham. Our Court of Protection team has extensive experience handling a wide range of complex Court of Protection cases. As a leading Legal 500 firm, we take pride in providing a high level of client care. Representing individuals, often vulnerable adults, in relation to their property, financial affairs, and health and welfare decisions under the Mental Capacity Act 2005, this role offers the opportunity to work on a range of complex matters, acting in the best interests of our clients, often liaising with families, carers, local authorities and healthcare professionals. We are seeking two experienced and motivated Court of Protection Solicitors, with one based in our Streatham office and the other at our office in London Bridge. The successful candidates will be responsible for advising and representing clients in a range of complex legal matters. Many of our clients have ongoing personal injury or clinical negligence claims, which often result in multi-million-pound awards. This role demands strong analytical and financial skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy. THE ROLE * Advising clients, families, and carers about issues relating to mental capacity and the Court of Protection process. * Making applications to the Court of Protection, including for the appointment of deputies, statutory wills, and complex financial or health decisions. * Acting as a professional deputy or supporting lay deputies in the management of a client’s property and affairs. * Areas of work will include the management of Property and Affairs Deputyships, working with brain-injured and vulnerable clients, Trust management, assisting with tax affairs and accounts, drafting Personal Injury Trusts, Statutory Wills, Welfare Deputyship applications and other associated applications to the Court of Protection. * Handling disputes relating to the Court of Protection, such as challenges to an individual’s capacity, disagreements about deputyship, or objections to decisions concerning health and welfare. * Preparing and reviewing Lasting Powers of Attorney and advising on their use and registration. * Liaising with healthcare professionals, social services, and other stakeholders to gather evidence and ensure the client’s best interests are met. * Providing training and updates to clients and colleagues on developments in Court of Protection law and practice. * Maintaining accurate records and complying with all regulatory and professional standards, including those set by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). * Some clients have complex disputes involving property or families that require urgent intervention and support to resolve delicate issues.
