With 380+ Almakers and €100M+ ARR, Alma is scaling rapidly across Europe as a member of the Next40, and we're just getting started! 👐 ABOUT THE TEAM You will join the Product Analytics team, currently composed of Louis and Camille, embedded within the wider Data Analytics organization (Eng > Data & AI > Data Analytics). The team's mission is to enable the Product organization through data — from discovery to impact measurement. You will report to Louis, Product Analytics Manager, and collaborate closely with a product organization of 11 Product Managers, Product Design, and Product Marketing teams. You will own the Core Tribe, which sits at the heart of Alma's product — covering financial flows, risk & scoring, and payment lifecycle. The PMs in this tribe are notably data-savvy, making it a particularly exciting scope to work on. This position is a CDI based in Paris. 💼 ABOUT THE JOB Be the data partner for the Core Tribe * Work hand in hand with 3 product squads (Core Finance, Risks, Payment Lifecycle) to assess the impact of key initiatives, support discoveries, and provide data-driven recommendations that directly influence product prioritization. Own and scale the analytics foundations of your scope * Audit existing models and pipelines, revamp key data models, and build the dashboards needed to track your tribe's most important metrics — ensuring data is reliable, accessible, and actionable. Design and run experiments * Implement A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to evaluate product features with statistical rigor, helping squads make confident, evidence-based decisions. Raise the bar across the Product Analytics team * Contribute to internal tooling, challenge existing approaches, and help define best practices that improve the whole team's standards and impact — not just your own perimeter. 🧰 YOU WILL WORK WITH SQL, BigQuery, dbt, Argo Workflow, Looker, Google Colab, Claude Code, Segment, Rudderstack, Python 🧩 ABOUT YOU To succeed in this job * 2 to 5 years of experience in Product Analytics, preferably in a fast-growing tech or fintech environment * Strong proficiency in SQL and solid grasp of statistical analysis and experimentation methodologies (A/B testing, significance, causality) * Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Genuine curiosity and eagerness to work with AI-assisted tools (Claude Code) as part of your daily workflow * Proficiency in French & English And it will be nice if you also * Are comfortable with Python for data manipulation and analysis * Have hands-on experience with dbt, BigQuery, or GCP * Have worked with tracking tools such as Segment or Rudderstack * Hold a degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or similar) Don't meet every single requirement? At Alma, we believe great hires come from diverse paths. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply. We value potential, curiosity and the ability to grow as much as experience. 🧘 ABOUT THE ROLE If you join, you will be able to grow and impact on: * A team with serious momentum — the Product Analytics team went from 1 analyst at end of 2024 to 3 today. You'll be joining at a pivotal moment, with a lot still to build in terms of tools, processes, and best practices. * Full ownership of a high-stakes tribe — the Core Tribe covers the financial, risk, and payment foundations of Alma. You'll have a clear perimeter and real latitude to shape how data is used within it, alongside data-savvy PMs who speak your language. * Broad impact beyond your scope — from month 9, you'll be expected to contribute to raising standards across the whole Product Analytics team. This is a role where growth is structural, not just a promise. 🤑 COMPENSATION & BENEFITS * Competitive salary based on 12 months * Profit-sharing and employee savings plan * Health insurance: 100% covered by Alma including family package * Disability insurance: 100% covered by Alma * Sport: partnerships with Gymlib and Classpass, or €30/month reimbursement for your sports activities * Maternity/paternity leave: salary maintained at 100% during leave with no seniority requirement. Return to work at 4/5 schedule paid at 100% for 8 weeks. * Sustainable Mobility Package (FMD): €544.80/year (excluding full-remote contracts) * Meal vouchers: €10/day, 50% covered by Alma * Mental health: free access to MindDay platform * Paid time off: 25 days/year (+ additional paid leave granted for employees on executive contracts) * Access to our Learning & Development Platform * 2 weeks of full remote possible per year in summer 🎯 INTERVIEW PROCESS * Video call with a Talent Acquisition team member to understand your path, motivation & present you the role. * Video call with your future manager to deep dive the role, the team, your profile and answer all your questions. * Case study presentation with 2 - 3 team members (ideally in house) to assess your practical knowledge. * 1 or 2 additional interviews customized to the role's level to further assess your skills and team fit. 🌍 DIVERSITY & INCLUSION At Alma, we believe that diversity fuels innovation and makes our community stronger. We are committed to building a workplace where every person feels seen, respected, and empowered to do their best work whatever their gender, background, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability or lived experience.
