The Legal & Business Affairs team sits within Deezer's Music Industry Relations department and serves as a strategic partner to
the entire organization. Our team is responsible for securing Deezer's commercial activities, managing legal risks, and ensuring
regulatory compliance across all markets. We work with all business divisions — from Partnerships, Product & Tech, Marketing and

The team is responsible for securing Deezer's commercial activities, managing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all markets. It works transversally with all business divisions — from Partnerships, Product & Tech, Marketing and Music Licensing to Finance and IT team — providing expert legal guidance to support Deezer's growth and operations. Within the Legal & Business Affairs team, you will join the Marketing & B2C division, a team of 3 people, and will report directly to the Team Lead. You will be responsible for providing end-to-end legal support to Deezer's marketing teams and B2C operational teams, managing a broad range of commercial contracts, and ensuring that Deezer's consumer-facing activities remain compliant with applicable French and European regulations. What you will do: * Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of marketing agreements, including agency agreements, event organization contracts, supplier agreements, sponsorship deals, contest rules, broadcasting authorization templates...etc. * Monitoring, analyzing and assessing regulatory developments affecting B2C activities at both French and European levels (consumer law, advertising and e-commerce regulations...etc). * Providing timely recommendations and alerts to operational teams to ensure ongoing compliance and anticipate upcoming requirements. * Maintaining and updating internal legal documentation, including improving legal process guidelines, contract templates, and best practice notes related to marketing and B2C activities and populating the legal team’s knowledge base. QUALIFICATIONS * Master's degree (Bac+5) in Intellectual Property Law, Contract Law, New Technologies or equivalent. * 1 to 2 years of professional experience post-internship, ideally gained in a tech company, a digital media environment, or a law firm with a commercial/consumer practice. * Solid foundation in intellectual property, contract law and consumer law; knowledge of advertising regulations, or digital regulations is a plus. * Full professional proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required. * Proactive and solution-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; comfortable working cross-functionally with non-legal stakeholders.
