Deine Mission ist es, unser Java-Entwicklungsteam innerhalb der Software-Engineering-Abteilung sowohl technisch als auch
disziplinarisch zu leiten und gemeinsam mit dem Team skalierbare, zuverlässige und wartbare Softwarelösungen als Teil der
End-to-End-Lösungen von OKAPI:Orbits weiterzuentwickeln. Du wirst ein Team von derzeit fünf Java-Entwicklerinnen und -Entwicklern
dabei unterstützen, moderne Services und ereignisgesteuerte Systeme zu entwerfen, zu implementieren und nachhaltig zu betreiben.
In dieser Rolle verbindest du echten technischen Beitrag mit starker Führung von Menschen. Du schreibst und reviewst Code
gemeinsam mit deinem Team, schaffst Klarheit bei Prioritäten, investierst aktiv in die Weiterentwicklung deiner Teammitglieder und
stellst sicher, dass technische Entscheidungen mit den Unternehmenszielen und Kundenbedürfnissen übereinstimmen. Damit trägst du
direkt dazu bei, dass Satellitenbetreiber und Raumfahrtagenturen ihre Missionen in einer zunehmend dynamischen Orbitalumgebung
effizient planen, überwachen und steuern können.

RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead, coach, and manage a team of Production QA Technicians * Schedule and assign QA personnel to production lines based on daily manufacturing priorities. * Deciding on the withholding of defective products and initiating immediate corrective actions in the event of quality deviations. * Oversee the containment, isolation, and documentation of non-conforming materials or products. * Close collaboration with Production, Production Engineering, R&D and Supply Chain * Ensuring the quality of products delivered to the customer * Actively participating in the further development of inspection processes and the implementation of new inspection methods. * Develop and execute training programs to ensure the QA team is fully aligned on inspection techniques, safety protocols, and testing methodologies. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field, OR * A German degree as “Meister”, “Staatlich geprüfter Techniker” specializing in electronics or mechanical engineering with equivalent, proven professional experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment. * 3–5 years of experience in a production/manufacturing QA environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity * Strong commitment to quality and a high level of customer focus * Strong organizational and communication skills * Strong technical understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work well in a team, a structured approach to work, and a hands-on mindset * Business-level proficiency in German and English.
