As a Workday Finance Specialist, you will support our Workday Financials platform and help standardise finance processes across
Europe and Canada. Working closely with Finance and Technology teams, you will drive system improvements and enable efficient
accounting operations and period-end processes.

Why this role is unique * Own the General Ledger for multiple German legal entities. * Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and HGB. * Contribute to finance transformation and continuous process improvements. * Work closely with international finance teams across the AutoScout24 Group. What you'll do * Maintain the General Ledger for German legal entities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in line with Group accounting policies, IFRS, HGB and local statutory requirements. * Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, annual audits and other local reporting requirements. * Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure reconciling items are investigated and resolved. * Assist with monthly VAT returns and related tax compliance activities. * Support the global intercompany reconciliation process and collaborate with finance teams across the Group. * Contribute to system improvements and finance projects that enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls. What you'll bring * University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. * Professional accounting qualification or active studies towards ACCA, ACA, CPA, Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerfachwirt or an equivalent qualification. * Solid knowledge of IFRS and HGB. * Experience in General Ledger Accounting or Legal Entity Accounting within a medium to large international organisation. * Experience with ERP systems; Workday Financials is a plus. * Fluent German and English. As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our Accounts Receivable processes. You will manage customer invoicing, payment allocation and account reconciliations while working closely with Sales, Customer Care and Billing to ensure a seamless customer experience and strong financial operations. Workday Finance Specialist, Group Finance Adyen is looking for a Workday Finance Specialist to join our Finance Systems team in Amsterdam. This team is at the heart of Group Finance, responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the financial technology stack that powers our global operations. We manage key applications like Workday Financials, Omnea, Coupa, HighRadius, and various in-house tools, and your primary focus will be on ensuring they all work together seamlessly. This is a high-impact role with a unique opportunity to develop. You'll be joining a team of experts, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about technology, eager to learn new systems, and proactive in finding opportunities to create value. What you’ll do You will be responsible for scaling our internal finance processes: * Guide projects end-to-end, from evaluating potential systems solutions to managing RFPs for new tooling, facilitating stakeholder decisions, and supporting implementation. * Proactively improve existing internal processes and develop solutions together with various teams, such as Controlling & Accounting, Finance Operations, Product, Payroll, and Reporting. * Collaborate with stakeholders to align regional and global requirements. * Support, maintain, and administrate Workday (and other applications) for finance globally. * Work closely with all of our Finance, HR, Payroll, and Procurement teams globally to gain a deep understanding and to provide support on our systems and processes. * Support and collaborate with the finance team and the Workday Integration Specialists in the development of new solutions. Who you are * 3-5 years of professional experience in a Workday functional role and reporting expertise. Important: We specifically need experience working with Workday Financials (not solely HR functionalities) * You communicate clearly and are able to present information to a non-technical audience. * You understand architecture principles, data models, functional interactions, privacy regulations, and security, and you recognize the impact of changes, including to downstream systems. * You have a passion for supporting people and optimizing our system processes. * You are hands-on and pragmatic, using technologies to bring automation ideas to life. * You are innovative, have strong problem-solving capabilities, and have the initiative to inspire change with others while keeping in mind downstream dependencies. * You are detail-oriented and ensure the integrity of your changes. * You have experience with stakeholder management. * Experience with procurement applications such as Omnea, Coupa, or HighRadius is a significant plus. * Understanding of Finance and/or Accounting is a plus.
