DEINE MISSION As part of our Systems Engineering team in Munich, Germany, you will take a central role in the design and coordination of our Dynamic Space Operations roadmap. The role is focused on the early concept phase: surveying the available solutions, deriving concepts, and performing trade-offs. We also offer the opportunity to convert the work into a Master’s thesis, with the exact topic tailored to the candidate’s interests and strengths. Your role will include: * Detailed operational analysis of our systems, identifying stakeholders and their needs * Functional analysis, functional allocation and definition of the physical architecture * Organising and carrying out all the trade-offs necessary to the justification of the architecture * Derive system, subsystem and components functional performance requirements * Support the search for appropriate suppliers * Support the derivation of adequate development plans * Defining tests and analyses to ensure the product meets its requirements * Prepare documentation for the deliverables * Support with other relevant ad-hoc activities, as necessary DEIN PROFIL * Enrolled in a Master’s or advanced Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field * Hands-on experience working in student projects is an asset, especially student aerospace projects * Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, especially the Capella Framework, is an asset * Fluent in English is mandatory, knowledge of German is an asset. * Strong analytical and communication skills * Proactive, structured approach, and able to work independently as well as in a team WIR BIETEN * Immediate and flexible start * Flexible working hours * Potential for a Master’s project and/or full-time employment afterwards * Empowerment and independence, with mentoring and access to industry experts for academic success * Subsidy for EGYM Wellpass and Deutschlandticket * Complimentary beverages, company events, and professional development opportunities

The work will be concentrated around experimental development of organic electronic materials. The over-arching aim is to improve photovoltaic cells performance and thus accelerate the transition of the global energy market towards zero emissions. Together we will custom tailor a specific topic that combines your skillset with our needs. Examples of projects could be: Finding new ways of assessing device material quality for Chemists Exploring new ways of combining materials to achieve better performance for Material Scientists Digging deep into optoelectrical properties of semiconductors for the Physicists At Epishine, we believe in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration. That's why we encourage cross-functional projects where every perspective matters. Our focus is on broader exploration rather than diving too deep into narrow subjects. Whilst there will be support available, you will be expected to take a lot of responsibility and drive your own project forward. You will be based in our brand-new facilities in Linköping, and be supervised by our co-founder and R&D Director Thomas Österberg. Please note that this is an unpaid position for a master thesis or internship period. Who are we looking for? You are a student who is planning to carry out your master thesis or internship project during the autumn of 2026. You have an educational background in engineering, physics, chemistry or similar, and you have a clear technical interest. Further, you have a strong ambition to implement this knowledge by practical work in a wet lab. Moreover, you are a social person who thrives in a diverse culture where we have a lot of fun. You are an energetic and motivated team player who loves to solve problems. You are also able to work independently and drive your own work forward. Since you’ll be working on the forefront of organic electronics, you realize that the work will be more exploration-driven rather than executing a pre-determined plan. Lab experience is beneficial but not a requirement. As we are an international team, you must be comfortable in written and spoken English. You must also have a right to reside in Sweden.
