About the role
As a Mid-Level Audio & Acoustics Engineer, you will design, integrate, and deliver advanced audio solutions for a variety of global customer projects. You will work within a cross-functional team of experts in mechanics, electronics, and radio to ensure seamless technology integration.

Work tasks
The role involves a mix of hands-on laboratory measurements, software-based test automation, and technical consulting to deliver high-quality audio integrations for international clients.
Perform hands-on audio measurements using tools like Head Acoustics ACQUA, Listen SoundCheck, or Audio Precision.
Develop and automate audio tests primarily using Python.
Analyze measurement data and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Engage directly with US-based clients to identify technical needs and propose solutions.
Collaborate with mechanics, radio/antenna, and electronics teams in cross-functional projects.
Support sales and project management teams with technical expertise and feasibility assessments.
Design and integrate advanced audio components into diverse hardware projects.
We are looking for
Advanced knowledge of audio measurement tools such as Head Acoustics ACQUA, Listen SoundCheck, or Audio Precision.
Professional experience in a similar audio engineering or acoustics role.
Good programming skills in Python for test automation.
Strong understanding of both analog and digital audio systems.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Critical listening skills and strong analytical thinking capabilities.
It is meritorious if you have
Hands-on experience in DSP development.
Knowledge of acoustic simulations such as FEM/COMSOL or lumped parameter models.
Basic understanding of C++, C#, or MATLAB.

The Role… At Soho House, a Sound Engineer is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of all audio systems to ensure exceptional sound quality for members, guests, and events. You will work closely with the events, AV, and technical teams to deliver seamless audio experiences for live performances, presentations, and in-house productions. You will have a strong background in audio engineering and implementation along with a good working knowledge of the latest technologies and best practice. You must possess in-depth knowledge, expertise and experience in at least one of our core disciplines with a willingness to learn and grow your expertise in other areas. You should have an excellent working knowledge of general production techniques including IT, rigging, power distribution & data. The role is heavily client facing so you must be a confident communicator with a desire to deliver the best service standards possible.
