We are looking for a Team Manager to lead a department based in Ludvika, Sweden, responsible for Operational Technology (OT) systems within HVDC Control & Protection.
This role combines strong people leadership with local ownership in Ludvika and global collaboration. You will be part of the Global HVDC C&P IT/OT Management Team, working closely with colleagues and managers across regions to drive alignment, capability, and operational excellence.
You will lead a team of around 20 professionals, creating conditions for them to succeed, grow, and deliver at their best in a complex and fast-paced project environment.
As a Team Manager, your primary responsibility is to lead, support, and develop your team, ensuring both people and performance thrive.

The opportunity As Team Manager HVDC Control & Protection IT and Cybersecurity, you will lead a team delivering secure IT/OT design solutions for HVDC Control & Protection systems across global projects. The role combines people leadership, cybersecurity-focused technical governance, and project execution. How you’ll make an impact Lead and support an IT/OT design team with strong focus on IT and cybersecurity. Build an inclusive, collaborative, high-performing team culture. Own and govern IT/OT and cybersecurity design for HVDC Control & Protection systems. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, IT/OT architecture, and engineering standards. Drive standardization, reuse, and continuous improvement of secure IT/OT solutions. Support projects during design, integration, testing, FAT/SAT, and commissioning. Collaborate closely with engineering, cybersecurity, and system solutions teams. Your background Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT, Automation, or similar. The opportunity We are looking for an engaged, people-focused and technically curious Team Manager for our Valve Electrical Design team within HVDC in Sweden. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for the detailed electrical design of Optical current transformers (OCT) and related equipment used in HVDC and SVC applications. You will play an important part in shaping both the technical delivery and the team’s long-term development. You will join a global organization where collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement are key. The Valve Electrical Design organization currently includes around 80 colleagues across Sweden, India, and China, and we are in an exciting phase of growth and transformation.
