Reporting to the Creative Director, this person will work primarily with the Creative and Social teams to create and edit social-first content across Tripadvisors channels on platforms including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. As well as support any additional creative needs as appropriate. The ideal candidate is comfortable producing short-form videos and other social media posts, capturing original content or leveraging existing content, creator content, stock footage and UGC. They are a social native that understands platform nuances, has a great eye for social trends and is passionate about all things travel. We're looking for a self-starter with excellent judgment and communication skills. This is a fulltime, paid position. Job Location: On-site This role is an on-site position in our London office. You Will * Operate at the forefront of social creativity with a creator first mindset and a strong instinct for what cuts through on platforms. You live and breathe internet culture, spotting emerging trends and turning them into brand storytelling that feels timely and part of the conversation. * Work closely with Tripadvisor Groups Creative and Social teams to develop social media content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube with potential for Facebook, Pinterest and Reddit. * Lead production and execution of a range of social videos and posts, leveraging trends and placing Tripadvisor at the heart of the cultural conversation. * Use AI and emerging creative tools to supercharge production, experimenting with new workflows that allow us to ideate, produce and scale high quality video content faster while keeping the craft and originality of the work front and centre. * Appear on-camera or voice videos; in partnership with the brand team, hone Tripadvisor’s unique voice on social. * Participate in brainstorms, proactively bring new ideas to the table, take direction and feedback from Social and Creative team leads. * Manage workback calendars and production needs to meet deadlines with the social media team. * Find creative ways to adapt relevant archival Tripadvisor Group footage to support the social media calendar. * Assist the Creative team on diverse video editing projects, demonstrating flexibility and readiness to assist across video and photo production tasks as needed. You Have * 4+ years video editing experience, preferably with a focus on native social formats e.g. TikTok, Reels. * Experiencing capturing social first videos and photos, specifically short-form video content (30-90 seconds). * Experience creating specifically for social media for a brand either at an agency or directly with a brand. * Ability to script, storyboard and contribute during creative development. * Proficiency in editing and design software such as the Adobe suite, Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and in-app editing tools. * Experience using AI creative tools such as Runway, Midjourney, ChatGPT or Adobe Firefly to enhance ideation, editing and rapid content production. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategic thinking to cross-functional teams.
