WHO ARE WE? Zora Ecosystems is a leading, tech-led developer of high-integrity nature restoration projects. We work at the intersection of applied science, land management, and emerging natural capital markets to deliver real, measurable environmental outcomes at scale. With 35 active projects, over 100,000 hectares of contracted landholdings, and a 600,000-hectare UK pipeline, we are scaling rapidly. Our work spans peatlands, woodlands, biodiversity, and catchment restoration, supported by a proprietary technology platform, cutting-edge analytics and a team of industry-leading practitioners. We focus on doing restoration properly - grounded in ecological integrity, robust evidence and practical delivery, while seeking to continuously improve and innovate. We are a venture-backed startup entering a new phase of growth. Following our success working with landowners to deliver nature-based projects on the ground, we are expanding into the demand side of the market. We’re partnering with large corporates and regulated utility companies to provide catchment solutions that target a broad scope of outcomes such as water quality, natural flood management, carbon sequestration, biodiversity uplift and more. IT OPERATIONS MANAGER Location: London / Marbella (Hybrid) Department: Operations Reporting to: Operations Growth Lead ABOUT NEXGEN CLOUD: NexGen Cloud is the company behind Hyperstack, a full-stack AI cloud serving tens of thousands of customers from AI researchers to enterprises running the world's most compute-intensive workloads. We deliver on-demand and private GPU infrastructure to teams who treat performance as a requirement, not a feature. We're a tight-knit, fast-moving team working at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure. We practise what we preach, equipping our people with AI at every level so we can solve harder problems, ship faster, and keep raising the bar for what enterprise GPU infrastructure looks like. THE ROLE: IT OPERATIONS MANAGER NexGen Cloud is growing — offices in London and Marbella, more to come — and our internal IT environment needs to scale with us. Right now, the systems, tooling, and workflows that the whole business relies on need an owner: someone who'll keep everything running reliably, build the automation that eliminates friction, and work closely with our security function to make sure access controls and configuration standards are consistently maintained. This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You won't be managing a team — you'll be managing the environment. That means owning Microsoft 365 end to end, running the device fleet across multiple offices, administering our SaaS stack, and building and maintaining the workflows that keep operational processes moving. You'll be the person the whole company turns to when something breaks — and the person who makes sure it breaks less often over time. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Rather than a long checklist, here's what success in this role looks like: * Own the Microsoft 365 environment — Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams — and keep it reliable, well-configured, and properly documented * Manage the full lifecycle of our device fleet across London, Marbella, and future sites: procurement, deployment, patching, and retirement * Administer our SaaS platforms — Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, HubSpot — keeping access, licensing, and integrations in order * Build and maintain workflow automation in Power Automate, including the IT mechanics of onboarding and offboarding * Serve as the primary IT support contact across all offices, resolving issues quickly and keeping end users informed * Work closely with the Security Operations Engineer to implement and maintain access controls and configuration standards, and escalate security-relevant events promptly * Manage IT vendors and procurement, holding suppliers to their SLAs and keeping licence renewals and contracts on track ABOUT YOU: We're more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV. You'll likely bring: ESSENTIAL * 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 administration — Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams * Solid experience with Microsoft Power Automate and SharePoint-based workflow automation * Experience managing a corporate device fleet across Windows and macOS using Intune or equivalent MDM * Proficiency in SaaS administration, particularly Atlassian (Jira and Confluence) and Slack * Experience supporting end users across multiple offices or a distributed environment * Strong troubleshooting instincts and the ability to manage competing priorities without losing grip on the detail * Willingness to travel periodically between our London and Marbella offices NICE TO HAVE * PowerShell or scripting experience for automation and administration tasks * Familiarity with information security principles and working alongside a security function * Experience administering HubSpot or equivalent CRM platforms * Microsoft certifications (M365 Fundamentals, Endpoint Administrator, or equivalent) * Background in a high-growth technology company or scale-up * Spanish language skills WHAT WE OFFER: * Competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus scheme * Employee wellbeing benefits * 25 days of holiday, plus public holidays * Flexible working arrangements (remote or hybrid, depending on role and location) * Real ownership and autonomy, with the trust to take initiative and experiment * The opportunity to make a visible, meaningful impact as we scale * Clear career progression and growth opportunities in a fast-growing company * A collaborative, international culture built on trust, transparency, and ownership * The chance to help shape NexGen Cloud's team, culture, and future alongside ambitious, mission-driven colleagues MORE INFORMATION Head over to our NexGen Cloud careers page to view current openings and follow us on LinkedIn and X to learn more about our journey, newest releases, and exciting news in the neocloud space.
