About 9fin
9fin is the AI platform powering global debt markets — the world’s largest asset class at over $145 trillion.
Debt markets are vast, global, and mission-critical, yet still run on fragmented data, PDFs, and manual workflows. 9fin replaces
this broken infrastructure with a single platform that centralises proprietary credit data, deep analysis, and high-value
workflows across global markets.
Today, 9fin powers teams at 300+ blue-chip institutions worldwide, including global banks, asset managers, private equity firms,
law firms, and advisors. The business is scaling at exceptional speed, with rapid expansion in the US and best-in-class retention
driven by deep workflow adoption.
We’re at a defining inflection point. With proven product-market fit and strong, global market pull, 9fin is accelerating toward

Who We Are At Intropic, we’re building the future of financial intelligence, where deep market expertise meets the power of AI. Founded in London’s financial centre of Canary Wharf, we exist to transform complex data into clarity, precision, and action. Our culture is shaped by truth-seeking, velocity, and ownership, values that drive how we build, learn, and collaborate every day. We move fast, think independently, and hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity and impact. Here, curiosity isn’t just encouraged, it’s essential. If you’re driven by challenge, inspired by innovation, and ready to amplify your intelligence alongside a team of exceptional thinkers, Intropic is where your ideas can truly compound. Who We Look For We are a fin-tech start-up with a successful suite of products, now ready to build the next big thing. You must thrive working on open-ended problems across a range of disciplines; we are a start-up where our engineers do much more than just pick up JIRA tickets. A typical week may include designing and implementing new features from backend to frontend, providing support and maintaining existing features, deploying infrastructure changes, talking to product early-adopters, and strategic planning with the team leads. We hire the person not the CV; if you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role As an engineer in our Collection Engineering team, you'll build the tools and platform that power Elliptic's intelligence operation, the engine behind a product used by law enforcement, regulators, and the world's largest financial institutions to fight crypto crime. Intelligence flows into Elliptic from everywhere. All of it needs to be ingested, classified, stored, and reviewed before it can reach our proprietary graph database, the system at the heart of our market-leading products. Our team owns that pipeline end to end. Working alongside data scientists, analysts and researchers, you'll help design and build the services and tooling that scale the collection effort, remove bottlenecks, and free our intelligence team to focus on the work only humans can do. Your work will get stolen funds traced, ransomware actors identified, and sanctions enforcement enabled. Few engineering roles connect code and consequence so clearly. What you will do * Design and build software tools to improve and enhance our intelligence collection and analysis efforts. Examples of such tools range from services deployed on kubernetes to browser extensions and beyond. * Collaborate with a world class team of analysts and researchers to understand their processes and pain points, and automate them away. * Develop software to analyse and interpret cryptocurrency usage behaviours and trends. * Implement observability mechanisms to detect problems in your environment(s), and run the associated business processes to resolve. You will be a great fit here if you * Have a passionate interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchains and their usage (both from a technical and economic perspective) in the real-world. * Have great coding skills in Typescript and the proven ability to engineer good solutions. * Have increased operational efficiency by integrating disparate systems. * Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team on highly impactful problems, making the crypto ecosystem a safer space. * Promote a positive culture of collaboration, through open and effective communication, particularly when addressing issues or raising concerns. * Are able to form well reasoned, data driven or otherwise evidence-based arguments, to influence key stakeholders across the business. * Know when to build PoC vs production grade software. * Are fluent in AI and agentic workflows. Required Skills and Experience * 3+ years of commercial experience * Proficient in Typescript, plus React, Nest.js * Familiar with Postgres and K8s * Experience with AWS, Terraform, Datadog Bonus points * Has worked in an intelligence collection setting * Experience with “big data” technologies, the management of data, and data pipelines How we work * Hybrid working and the option to work from almost anywhere for up to 90 days per year * £500 Remote working budget to set up your home office space Learning & Development * $1,000 Learning & Development budget to use on anything (agreed with your manager) that contributes to your growth and development Vacation / Leave * Holidays: 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays * An extra day for your birthday * Enhanced parental leave: We provide eligible employees, regardless of gender or whether they become a parent by birth or adoption, 16 weeks fully-paid leave. Benefits * Private Health Insurance: We use Vitality! * Full access to Spill Mental Health Support * Life Assurance: we hope you will never need this - but our cover is for 4 times your salary to your beneficiaries * Cycle to Work Scheme

You’ll dive straight into hands-on learning, guided by experienced developers who will mentor you and set you up to manage your own projects. As you grow, you’ll take on more responsibility, mentor junior developers and become an essential technical advisor within your team. You’ll thrive on solving complex problems, continuously expanding your technical skills and tackling new challenges. You will work as a Full Stack Developer working on creating innovative web and mobile applications for our clients, working as part of a small, dynamic team of developers. You’ll collaborate closely with agile and technical coaches to build scalable solutions using cutting edge technologies.
