We’re looking for a Head of Procurement Transformation & Optimisation to join our London team. This is a hybrid role. SHAPING THE FUTURE OF PROCUREMENT We are investing in a brand-new, future-oriented Global Procurement Centre of Excellence that is shaping the future of DoorDash Inc. Procurement. This role is a pivotal part of that new organisation. Please note: While this is a global group role driving strategy across the DoorDash Inc. portfolio, you will be locally employed on a Deliveroo contract based out of our London office. In this role, you’ll help us design, build, and embed our future-state procurement function—ensuring that procurement evolves as an integrated system, rather than a set of disconnected initiatives, across a complex, global, multi-entity organisation. Get to know our Finance team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING You’ll be joining the Procurement team within our broader Finance function. In a global, multi-entity marketplace, procurement effectiveness depends on more than sourcing execution; it requires a coherent operating model, clear processes, strong digital enablement, and sustained capability uplift. This role is deliberately distinct from enterprise prioritization and delivery governance. While our Chief of Staff and PMO ensure work is sequenced and delivered in line with enterprise capacity, you will focus squarely on what is being built and how. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: * Target Operating Model & Design Authority: Define and maintain the target operating model for Global Procurement, covering structure, roles, decision rights, and ways of working to support growth, efficiency, resilience, and risk management. Act as the design authority for procurement transformation initiatives, ensuring absolute coherence across all build activities and resolving design tensions between global standardization and local flexibility. * Global Process Design: Own the design of global procurement processes, ensuring simplicity, scalability, and absolute clarity regarding decision-making, accountability, and cross-functional hand-offs. Sponsor the deep integration of process design with governance, data capture, and digital enablement. * Digital, Systems & AI Enablement: Own the procurement digital enablement agenda, including core procurement systems (sourcing, contracts, supplier management), workflow automation, and productivity tooling. Drive applied AI use cases that improve efficiency, insight, and decision quality, ensuring responsible, controlled adoption of AI in line with enterprise standards. * Transformation Build & Change Design: Sponsor and oversee build initiatives across process, digital enablement, automation, and capability to ensure solution designs align with the agreed target state and do not fragment the operating model. Set the overall strategy for change management, adoption, and capability uplift, partnering with specialist roles who own the localized delivery. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE Essential: * Significant experience architecture-designing global target operating models and process frameworks within complex, multi-entity corporate environments. * Proven ability to act as a Design Authority, with a track record of resolving design tensions between global standardization and local execution. * Strong understanding of modern digital procurement ecosystems, with hands-on experience scaling core procurement systems, workflow automation tools, and applied AI use cases. * Proven capability in strategic change management, with the ability to define the strategy for adoption, capability uplift, and operational readiness. * Exceptional stakeholder leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers (such as PMO, Chief of Staff, and Finance leads) to separate design from delivery governance. Nice to Have: * Experience operating within a fast-paced technology, marketplace, or hyper-growth corporate environment. * Familiarity navigating procurement ecosystems that bridge multiple major global brands or global entity integrations. Head of Value & Pricing, Strategy & Operations (12M Fixed Term, New Verticals) The Role You’ll be part of the New verticals Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, the engine responsible for driving NV Value strategy. In this role, you’ll support and lead high-impact workstreams that inform where and how we provide great value to customers in a financially sustainable way across the whole suite of levers: Item pricing, discounting, Fees, Value discovery etc. You’ll partner closely with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Analytics and local markets to translate strategy into execution. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong strategy skills, analytical thinking, structured communication, and sound commercial judgment. What You’ll Do Strategy & Insight * Define and Shape Value strategy and independently set roadmap across markets, and value levers * Be accountable for achieving NV Value OKRs (e.g. price mark-up, item offer penetration) across key markets. * Proactively identify and size new value opportunities and design net‑new initiatives to unlock them * Support key commercial initiatives on partner onboarding, strategic promotional events Performance & Planning * Own the setting and tracking and reporting of KPIs for Value pod, own performance reviews * Collaborate with Analytics and Data Science to build frameworks for performance monitoring, forecasting, opportunity sizing Execution & Delivery * Lead end to end specific workstreams or initiatives within broader cross-functional programs, such as: * Fee optimisation to drive consumer habituation with NV proposition * Rollout of the key promotional mechanics across markets * Drive GTM /adoption for specific product features Cross-functional Collaboration * Serve as a key point of contact for Value pod with Product, Marketing, Finance, and local market teams * Shape cross-functional operating models to keep work moving * Mentor junior NV S&O teammates and guide cross‑functional squads in structuring and executing value initiatives * Drive knowledge sharing and playbook development to scale high-performing ideas People management * Lead a team of 2+ people including accountability for team performance, development, and hiring Qualities We're Looking For * DECISIVE AND INFLUENTIAL: you should thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable with suggesting quick yet calculated recommendations and communicating persuasively, even in times of ambiguity. More importantly, you must have a strong desire to galvanise action within Deliveroo. * ANALYTICAL AND COLLABORATIVE: there will be number-crunching involved, but your role will also be about working with our teams in product, commercial, marketing and finance, understanding how your insights are aligned with the direction the business is heading in. * STRUCTURED: you will be working on multiple projects and competing priorities at the same time - from helping to lead a project, to analysing a problem and communicating recommendations in a concise manner, you will need to be methodical and rigorous in your approach. Profile We are looking for someone who: * Has 6-8 years experience in consulting, strategy function; preferably with core expertise in pricing. * Has a hands-on mentality and is willing to get stuck into shaping how consumers engage with Deliveroo. * Can prioritise effectively while working on multiple projects concurrently and independently. * Is adept at conducting 80/20 analysis, drawing out business insights from that analysis and presenting findings and recommendations persuasively. Requirements Essential: * Strong problem solving abilities involving identifying the root cause of problems, assessing risks/impacts and determining and implementing effective solutions. * Highly analytical mindset with the ability to break down large data sets and turn them into actionable insights * Strong presentation skills and an ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, simple way, both written and verbally. * London-based with a minimum of three days required in the office
