It could be the start of something, well, extraordinary. SOUNDS GREAT, WHAT WILL I BE DOING? 🤔 As our Junior Management Accountant you'll get hands-on with the day-to-day management accounting for several of our global entities — working closely with our Senior Management Accountants to keep our books accurate, our accounts reconciled, and our month-end running like clockwork. This is a genuine accounting role, so you'll get real exposure to the full finance cycle, from general ledger maintenance through to audit and tax support. A few things you’ll be responsible for: 👉 Preparing monthly schedules and reconciliations and posting journal entries for bank (including FX revaluations), prepayments, loans, fixed assets and intercompany 👉 Setting up bank payments for intercompany transfers and payroll across all entities, and supporting the AP team with supplier payment runs where needed 👉 Keeping our fortnightly cashflow forecast accurate and up to date 👉 Maintaining the general ledger in SAP Business One — creating new GL codes, cost centres/departments, and closing periods each month 👉 Leading on PSA and P11D preparation, liaising with the Tax and People teams as well as external accountants 👉 Supporting on the annual group audit with schedules, reconciliations and documentation of process notes It’s also fun; shaking things up is what working for GWI is all about. You’ll need to be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment. WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME? 🧳 You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you’re willing to learn. Here’s what the team will be looking for in you: 👉 Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW (or equivalent) 👉 Solid grounding in double-entry accounting and month-end processes, ideally from a practice background or a similar accounting role in a smaller company 👉 Comfortable working independently across multiple entities and currencies, managing competing deadlines with confidence 👉 Experience working with ERP systems — SAP Business One experience a strong plus 👉 High proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft packages; must have strong Excel skills 👉 Transparent, confident communicator who's comfortable liaising with stakeholders outside of Finance 👉Nice to have: Experience using AI effectively, ethically and safely — using it as a thinking partner without losing sight of professional judgement Newly qualified? You're welcome to apply too — just know this role sits at part-qualified level, so the salary is set accordingly. Equally important is attitude. We want people who think big (to make an impact), ask why (to find a better way), and show respect (to everyone, at every level, all the time). Those are our values, and they’re a big part of what we’re looking for in you. WHY JOIN US 👉 Own real work from day one. You'll run your own entities and reconciliations — not just watch someone else do it. 👉 Learn from people who've done it. Our Senior Management Accountants will help you grow, from talking through tricky reconciliations to supporting your ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW study. 👉 Get exposure most junior roles won't give you.
