EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (BOARD SUPPORT) - 9 MONTHS FTC We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide focused Board and executive support within our Chief Finance Office on a 9 month fixed term basis. This role is suited to someone who already works at senior executive level and wants a clear, structured scope that brings variety, oversight and continuity. You will support 1 to 3 executives and work closely with the Pay.UK Board, coordinating complex diaries, Board and committee meetings, reporting cycles and governance activity. Your work directly enables effective decision making across an organisation that operates the UK’s retail payment systems, processing billions of transactions each year. The role provides exposure to Board-level activities, established processes, and a well-connected EA community, with assignment across directorates as required to maintain consistency and continuity. ACCOUNTABILITIES * Manage complex diaries, email, correspondence and expenses for assigned executives and Board members, making informed decisions on priorities and delegating where appropriate. * Plan, schedule and coordinate Board, committee and directorate meetings, including forward planners, agendas, paper submissions, briefing packs, minutes and action logs. * Prepare, track and maintain reporting schedules for regulatory, Board, CEO and internal submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. * Coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the directorate, including maintaining intranet content and shared information. * Review, proofread and quality check reports and presentations to ensure they meet Pay.UK standards, templates and house style. * Maintain and follow up action logs from meetings, liaising with action owners across the organisation to confirm progress and completion. * Support budget and invoice management for the directorate, working with Finance Business Partners to monitor costs against agreed budgets. * Coordinate onboarding and induction for executive direct reports, working with People, IT and Security to ensure all arrangements are in place. * Organise internal and external events such as Board meetings, away days and team events, including venues, suppliers, invitations and logistics. * Provide cover and deputise for the Executive Office Manager when required, including support for the Chair, CEO, Executive Committee and Quarterly Business Reviews. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Demonstrable experience in a senior executive assistant or equivalent role supporting executives and Boards. * Experience coordinating Board or committee meetings, including agenda management, paper collation, minute taking and action tracking. * Experience working with senior stakeholders and maintaining professional relationships at executive and Board level. * Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including managing complex documents, schedules and presentations. * Experience handling confidential and sensitive information within a regulated or governance-led environment. As the Investor Content and Community Manager, you will play a central role in building, growing, and engaging the Fixed Income Investor Network (FIIN) community across the structured finance and private credit markets. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with investors and key market participants, helping to shape FIIN's initiatives and task forces through ongoing dialogue, market insight, and community leadership. WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE? This is a varied role committed to managing investor engagement and community development across FIIN, while working closely with FIIN's board and leadership. The role combines community building, relationship management, event development, content creation, and strategic partner engagement. COMMUNITY BUILDING & INVESTOR ENGAGEMENT * Own and manage relationships with investors across structured finance and private credit, maintaining regular direct engagement through calls, meetings, and in-person interactions. * Develop and expand the FIIN community by building relationships with investors across new firm types, geographies, and asset class focus areas not yet well represented within the membership. * Foster meaningful connections between members, helping to strengthen engagement and participation across the FIIN community. * Gather and synthesise market intelligence from investor conversations, sharing insights internally to inform FIIN's strategic priorities, task force programming, and content agenda. * Act as a trusted point of contact for members, developing a deep understanding of their investment focus, strategic priorities, and areas of interest. * Provide regular structured updates to the FT Live Events (FIE) team on key investor market trends, sentiment, and developments relevant to event programming and strategy. BUILDING AND RUNNING THE FIIN INVESTOR COMMUNITY * Work directly with the FIIN Board to develop and drive FIIN's strategic objectives. * Plan, organise, and host FIIN Board and Executive Committee meetings, ensuring effective preparation, coordination, and follow-through on key actions and decisions. * Lead the delivery of FIIN's member engagement programme, ensuring regular opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. * Plan and host investor networking events in London and other key markets. * Chair monthly FIIN asset-focused task force calls across CLOs, RMBS, Consumer ABS, ESG, Infrastructure, and CRE/CMBS. * Develop the programming of investor-led elements at relevant FIE conferences, including investor lunches, closed-door boardroom discussions, and the Fixed Income Investor Forum. * Create approximately five webinars per year offering investor insight to be shared with the FIIN membership and broader community. * Develop relevant investor and market content for distribution to the FIIN community, including thought leadership pieces, white papers, and member updates. MEMBERSHIP GROWTH AND RETENTION * Support FIIN's membership recruitment and retention efforts by identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with prospective member firms. * Help ensure members derive ongoing value from participation in the network, supporting long-term engagement and retention. * Maintain clear records of key relationships and interactions to support continuity, institutional knowledge, and long-term community development. * Work collaboratively with the wider FIIN team to ensure communications, programming, and initiatives reflect genuine member priorities and market needs.
