Du kommer att ingå i ett Bioscience Immunology-team inom Research and Early Development, Respiratory & Immunology. Rollen fokuserar på in vitro-studier och ex vivo-analyser av musceller med inriktning mot inflammatoriska och autoimmuna sjukdomar. Området Respiratory & Immunology är ett av organisationens kärnterapiområden och har som mål att förstå, behandla, modifiera och i förlängningen bota respiratoriska och autoimmuna sjukdomar. Uppdraget passar dig som vill arbeta nära forskningen, bidra till läkemedelsutveckling och vara delaktig i att generera robusta, publicerbara vetenskapliga resultat.
Dina arbetsuppgifter 🔍
I rollen planerar, genomför och analyserar du in vitro- och ex vivo-experiment som stödjer läkemedelsutvecklingsprojekt. Du bidrar aktivt i vetenskapliga diskussioner kring studiedesign och tolkning av data samt presenterar resultat, slutsatser och rekommendationer i projekt- och teamforum. Arbetet är praktiskt och hands-on, där du utför analyser kopplade till prekliniska studier i nära samarbete med andra forskare. Du ansvarar för att säkerställa högsta kvalitet vad gäller dataintegritet, kvalitetssäkring och arkivering samt för att sammanställa rapporter och vetenskapliga sammanfattningar.

Minst 5 års erfarenhet av flödescytometri (FACS) på musmaterial, inklusive organpreparering, digestion, färgning och antikroppspaneldesign

Förmåga att självständigt planera, genomföra och analysera proteinanalyser såsom ELISA, Western blot och Meso Scale Discovery

What you will do: • Plan and execute experiments: Design, perform, and analyze in vitro and ex vivo studies to advance drug discovery projects and generate publishable insights. • Support in vivo experiments Accountabilities: • Hands on work: Conduct in vitro and ex vivo analysis from rodent studies alongside a team of committed scientists; support in vivo scientists with preparations for experiments, collecting biological samples and live animal handling. • Data responsibilities: Uphold the highest standards of data integrity, quality control, and archiving. • Communication: Evaluate and interpret primary data; write reports and summaries; present in team and project meetings. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic biochemist to join our growing team. The successful candidate for the Senior / Principal Scientist, Biochemistry position will have a critical role in supporting Treeline’s drug discovery programs by collaborating closely with a multi-disciplinary team of biology, biophysics, structural biology, computational, and medicinal chemistry scientists to deliver high-quality results and drive small molecule drug discovery. Specifically, you will propose, design, and implement new biochemical assays to screen and characterize protein-small molecule and protein-protein interactions. Required Qualifications * PhD in biochemistry or a related discipline with 5+ years of industry experience, or a comparable combination of postdoctoral training and industry experience. * Strong knowledge and understanding of steady-state enzyme kinetics and binding assays. * Experience in small molecule drug discovery, specifically biochemical assay development and characterization of small molecule inhibitors and protein–ligand binding interactions. * Experience in a wide array of biochemical assays, both enzymatic and binding, such as FP, TR-FRET, AlphaLISA, DSF. * Experience with validating hits coming from DEL screening campaign * Strong attention to detail, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams.
