An opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Operator within our Cambridge based Operations team. This role is responsible for
delivering all aspects of an efficient end-to-end supply chain within Operations, including kit assembly, goods in/out,
warehousing customer service and inventory management, whilst providing additional support to projects and continuous improvement
initiatives.

We have opened a new world-class facility and are looking for new talented people to join us on this exciting journey. THE ROLE Stores and Despatch are part of wider Supply Chain Department. The Stores and Despatch Operator is responsible for preparing, packing, and shipping finished electronic products and components to customers, ensuring all goods leave the facility accurately, on time, and in excellent condition. Role also requires booking goods in, kitting and stock control. This role plays a key part in maintaining internal and external customer satisfaction and supporting the smooth flow of materials through the business. Responsibilities * Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders in line with shipping instructions and company standards. * Verify order accuracy against delivery notes, sales orders, and product labels. * Ensure products are packaged securely and labelled correctly to prevent damage during transit. * Create and manage despatch documentation, including delivery notes, shipping labels, and courier manifests. * Book shipments through approved courier and freight systems (e.g. DHL, UPS, FedEx). * Book in delivered goods * Kit components for production * Liaise with Purchasing and Production to ensure any queries are resolved * Handle incoming and outgoing shipments, including the loading and unloading of vehicles. * Maintain accurate stock records and update ERP or inventory management systems. * Conduct visual checks on products for damage or defects prior to goods receiving and despatch. * Ensure compliance with export control, ESD handling, and health & safety procedures. * Support continuous improvement initiatives within the stores and despatch area. ABOUT YOU * Previous experience in a despatch, warehouse, or logistics role — ideally within an electronics or manufacturing environment is desirable. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and shipments. * Ability to work effectively under time constraints and meet delivery deadlines. * Proficient in using computers and ERP/inventory systems for order processing. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Physically capable of handling packages safely (manual handling training provided). * Experience with export and customs documentation. * Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling procedures. Job Description As a core executor of robotic hardware assembly, be responsible for the accurate assembly of a full range of robotic components, including robotic joints, structural parts, harness and other key components. Strictly follow assembly process requirements and operating specifications to ensure that assembly accuracy meets product standards.
