We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to provide person-centered support to a teenage male. In
this rewarding role, you will assist with social interaction and community engagement, supporting him to access a variety of
activities and interests both at home and within the local community. Responsibilities will include driving the client to and from
activities, providing support with bedtime routines, and undertaking overnight support as required. Applicants must hold a full UK
driving license and have business insurance for their vehicle, or be willing to obtain business insurance. We are seeking a
flexible individual who can demonstrate availability to meet the needs of the support package and adapt to changing requirements
when necessary. Full competency-based training will be provided, along with a comprehensive induction programme that includes
shadow shifts, ensuring you feel confident and fully supported in your role. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, proactive,
and committed to promoting independence, confidence, and positive social experiences.

We are looking for a personal assistant to support 4 gentlemen to live the lives they choose. The four men, aged from 62 to 78, live together in a supported living house in Staple Hill. We’re looking for a personal assistant to help them to maintain their lives. Whilst independence is important, everyone needs your support with all aspects of their lives, from personal care, menu planning, cooking, household chores and shopping to achieving their goals and supporting them to access the local and wider community, as well as in-house activities such as baking art& crafts. The gentlemen enjoy attending football matches, cricket matches, the local pub to play pool and darts, gardening and visiting places of interest to them. Medication competency, support to recognise health issues and to attend health appointments is vital, Shift patterns currently are 09:45 till 22:30 sleep-in then 06:30 till 10:00 the following day. We also have shifts available from 10:00 till 19:00 hour, which is to provide 1 to 1 support to enable the gentleman to fulfil their daily activities. We require staff to work flexibly to include sleep-in shifts, weekends and bank holidays. We need you to be IT literate to use digital care plans and medication systems and attention to detail is vital. Supporting everyone to communicate their needs means being observant of body language and behaviours as they may not be able to directly tell you what's going on. You will need to be confident in reporting any safeguarding concerns as needed. To be a driver is desirable, but not essential.
