WHAT YOU'LL DO * Shape Our Accounting Strategy & Lead the Function: Shape the future of our global accounting function by partnering with the CFO to build scalable processes, elevate financial excellence, and develop a high-performing team that enables sustainable growth. * Build the Finance Function of the Future: Turn accounting into a technology-driven competitive advantage by designing scalable processes, implementing AI-powered automation, and building a finance ecosystem that scales with our global growth. * Own Multi-Entity Accounting & Group Consolidation: Ensure complete financial visibility across our global business by leading multi-entity accounting, delivering accurate and timely reporting, and maintaining best-in-class accounting standards across all jurisdictions. * Lead Tax, Compliance & Audit Readiness: Build confidence in our global financial operations by driving tax and compliance excellence, leading successful audits, and ensuring we remain ahead of regulatory requirements across every market we operate in. WHAT YOU'LL BRING EXPERIENCE * Accounting Leadership: You bring 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years leading and developing accounting teams. * Automation & Transformation: You have a proven track record of modernizing accounting functions through process optimization, automation, and technology adoption. * Multi-Entity Expertise: You have extensive experience managing accounting operations across multiple legal entities, including group consolidation and intercompany accounting. * Audit & Compliance Excellence: You have successfully led annual statutory audits across multiple jurisdictions and maintain a strong understanding of financial controls and compliance requirements. * Tax Knowledge: You bring hands-on experience with German tax requirements and have worked with tax structures and compliance obligations across the US and/or Canada. THE ROLE We’re looking for an Accountant to own the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations across our European entities - Sweden, Poland, Germany, and the UK. You’ll be a foundational hire on the finance team, reporting to the Group Controller and working closely with local teams and external providers to deliver timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting across all four markets. In this role, you’ll own daily accounting operations - partnering closely with HR, RevOps, Sales, and Customer Success to maintain clean books and ensure reliable data across the group. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles who thrives in a high-ownership and fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities * Own the Swedish, Polish, German, and U.K. accounting cycle – processing and recording individual transactions and processing period-end closing entries and analysis * Support external audit processes by preparing workpapers for auditors * Use modern finance tools, data platforms, and AI-enabled workflows where appropriate to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight * Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls across the finance and accounting function * Manage Order to Cash and Purchase to Payment cycles, ensuring accurate, timely processing, and working capital management * Assist with compliance monitoring across our European entities Who you are * Degree in Accounting or Finance * Several years experience in accounting, with exposure to transaction processing, journal entry booking, month-end close, and financial reporting * Conceptual understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/K3/US GAAP) and how that impacts the general ledger * Exposure to accounting process improvements, including automation, workflow refinement, or system changes is a plus * SaaS, subscription, or tech accounting experience is a strong plus * Familiarity with multi-entity, multi-currency accounting environments is a plus WHAT WE OFFER * Play a key role in an exciting journey.
