Location: Irvine, CA OR Remote within the USA We are seeking a Senior Electronic Component Reliability Engineer to provide hands-on component reliability support across the full set of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) spanning the client's defined component packages and current vehicle architecture. This is a coordination- and reliability-focused role at the intersection of component engineering, vendor management, and validation. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, fluent in electronic hardware components and their qualification, and comfortable engaging vendors directly on parts, specifications, and sourcing.  Responsibilities      • Support directed component selection for upcoming designs, coordinating with the client's Component Engineering team and vendors to help meet vehicle mission and reliability targets.      • Assist Component Reliability and ECU Reliability teams with Bill of Materials (BoM) reviews against vehicle life requirements and design guidelines, including coordinating vendor actions.      • Maintain the list of major component risks and controllers as directed, with routine vendor follow-ups for updates and data.     • Prepare and send vendor communications on reliability requirements, targets, and test plans, and manage follow-up responses.      • Collect, organize, and format component reliability test data from vendors, including routine follow-ups for missing or updated information.      • Execute root-cause coordination tasks, including meeting logistics, data collection, and regular Contract Manufacturer / vendor follow-ups to close action items.      • Engage vendors directly in discussions on parts, specifications, and sourcing.  Qualifications      • BS in Electrical Engineering preferred; Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field acceptable.      • Demonstrated understanding of electronic hardware components, their qualification, and their reliability (e.g., ICs/chips, transistors, and related discrete and passive components).       • Ability to read, interpret, and work from component and design specifications.       • Exceptional organizational skills—the engineer will independently maintain their own lists of parts, specifications, risks, and vendor actions.       • Experience engaging vendors on parts and sourcing discussions.      • Component reliability experience strongly preferred.  Salary Range     • $110,000-120,000     • The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience      All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, genetic information, or pregnancy. About the job This position is needed to drive the design, development, and end-to-end testing of core financial application components within Oracle Fusion and its integrated Zuora billing ecosystem. The engineer will act as a key technical partner, collaborating directly with cross-functional track leads, business stakeholders, and functional analysts to translate complex accounting and finance requirements into robust, scalable software solutions..  Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: * End-to-End Component Engineering: Design, develop, robustly code, and test enterprise financial application components within Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and integrated billing systems like Zuora. * Cross-Functional System Integration: Maintain seamless data flows, pipelines, and technical interfaces bridging Oracle Fusion with Zuora billing and other upstream/downstream platforms. * Technical Requirement Translation: Collaborate closely with functional analysts, business users, and financial track leads to translate complex business logic and accounting workflows into scalable technical specifications. * Release & Testing Orchestration: Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, ensuring all custom configurations, extensions, integrations and reports meet stringent financial accuracy standards. * Operational Health & Lifecycle Support: Proactively monitor system health, debug integration/report failures, perform root-cause analysis (RCA), and deliver critical support during high-stakes financial periods like month-end closes. Desired: * Basic understanding of data orchestration pipelines, XML/JSON data structures, or file-based data imports  * A foundational understanding of general accounting flows or experience providing technical support during high-stakes operational cycles like month-end financial closes. * Experience in Zuora billing systems including Workflows, Mediation, etc Location This role will be remote, and based in India.
