We are an established, profitable company in the privacy and adtech space - helping publishers and media houses across Europe
offer cross-publisher monetization models. Our technology powers multiple billion page impressions every month, and we’re scaling
fast into new markets. We combine the best of both worlds: the stability of a profitable business and the agility and ownership
mindset of a startup. Every team member has a visible impact and we encourage you to shape not just our products but also our
culture.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of our SDK - the core component integrated into partner websites.
This SDK manages communication with CMPs (Consent Management Platforms) and our stack, ensuring privacy compliance, performance,
and reliability at scale. You’ll be responsible for evolving the SDK into a high-performance, secure, and extensible framework
This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of web performance, browser internals, and privacy technology -
someone who takes pride in writing elegant, efficient, and secure TypeScript code.

THE MISSION At contentpass, we are on a mission to save independent journalism and the free web. We believe that privacy is a fundamental right and that quality content deserves to be paid for without selling user data. Our "Pur-Model" enables over 700 publishers to offer their readers a choice: consent to tracking or browse completely ad- and tracking-free for a small monthly fee. YOUR ROLE: THE HEART OF THE PRODUCT At contentpass, we often say that "the OIDC is the product, and the rest is glue." Our OIDC service is the central nervous system of our entire operation. It doesn't just handle logins; it manages the state of every single user interaction, subscription, and access right across hundreds of websites. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who wants to take ownership of this core infrastructure. You won’t just be maintaining a library; you will be architecting the future of how users interact with the paid web. We have a massive roadmap ahead, and you will be the one building the bridge to the next generation of contentpass. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Architect & Scale: Lead the development and scaling of our central OIDC provider. * OIDC Federation: Implement and manage integrations with other OIDCs and Social Logins, allowing for a seamless "login once, browse everywhere" experience. * Extend Subscription Logic: Design and implement complex subscription mapping and entitlement logic that goes far beyond simple "active/inactive" states. * Single-Article Payments: Build the foundation for granular payment models. * Security & Privacy by Design: Ensure that our identity service remains a fortress for user data, strictly adhering to GDPR and the highest security standards. * Collaborate: Work closely with our SDK and Frontend teams to ensure the "glue" connects perfectly to your core service. YOUR PROFILE * Deep OIDC/OAuth2 Expertise: You don’t just use libraries; you understand the underlying protocols, flows (Authorization Code, PKCE, etc.), and security implications. * Backend Mastery: You are a seasoned developer, ideally with strong experience in TypeScript/Node.js. * Identity Experience: You have worked with Identity Providers (IdPs) like Ory Hydra, Keycloak, or Auth0, or have built custom identity solutions from scratch. * Product Mindset: You understand that technical decisions impact the business. You enjoy thinking about how "Identity" can enable new features like micro-payments. * Security First: You have a "security-by-default" mindset and experience with JWTs, encryption, and token management. * Language: Fluency in English (German is a plus, but not required). WHY US? * Impact: You are working on one of the most critical parts of our company. * Flexibility: We are a remote-first company. Work from our beautiful office in Berlin or from your home office anywhere in Europe. * Growth: A high degree of autonomy and the chance to shape the technical roadmap of our core product. * Purpose: Join a team that values privacy, independence, and the future of digital publishing. * Equipment: The hardware you need to do your best work (MacBook, etc.).

Our vision is to offer savings and investments without barriers and thus open up the global 160 trillion euro market. Raisin currently employs more than 800 people from over 75 countries worldwide. Today, the platform holds over 80 billion euros in assets from more than one million investors which have accrued over 5 billion euros in returns. Team The US Payments & Partner Operations (PPO) team owns the core money-movement stack for the Raisin US’ platform: ACH payment initiation, reconciliation, returns, and cut-off scheduling, plus the customer accounts lifecycle — bank linking, fraud signal integration, and identity verification. Beyond payments, the team manages the B2B layer: onboarding and configuring Deposit-taking Banks, service banks, and custodians, including their user/role management. Your Responsibilities * Own and deliver features and bug fixes end-to-end with minimal guidance. * Identify and address bottlenecks in the team's delivery flow, from design to deployment. * Utilize AI tools intensively for increasing our ability and pace to deliver software. * Promote best practices around our core stack. * Transfer knowledge proactively, lead by example in learning and mentoring. * Contribute to improving how we program, test, review, and ship code. * Flag process gaps and propose pragmatic improvements. * Elevate engineers in growing their technical skills. * Provide constructive code review and solve complex problems together. * Quickly build practical depth in PPO's domains. * Contribute meaningfully to new feature design and implementation. * Bring engineering perspective into domain discussions alongside other team roles like Product Manager, Tech Lead and Engineering Lead. Your Profile We are looking for a versatile Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a deep, rock-solid foundation in the .NET and SQL Server ecosystem, who has the architectural maturity to adapt to other layers and the drive to learn the rest of our stack. Required: * Designing, optimizing, and maintaining robust enterprise APIs using .NET Web API. * Building and structuring web applications with .Net * Strong relational database design, complex querying, and performance tuning in SQL Server. * Design Patterns: A deep understanding of SOLID principles and a proven track record of writing Clean Code. * Structural Strategy: Practical experience working within modern architectural patterns, specifically Clean / Onion Architecture, to keep codebases decoupled and testable. * Fast Learner: You don't mind stepping out of your .NET comfort zone to touch a React component or a Go microservice. * Problem Solver: Highly analytical with a strong focus on detail and quality. * Collaborator: A team-first peer who thrives on open communication and cross-layer collaboration. Desired: * Experience building user interfaces with React JS, JavaScript, and HTML, accompanied by testing tools like Jest or React Testing Library. * Exposure to, or curiosity about environments like Node.js, GoLang, or Java / Spring Boot, and building APIs * Experience with GraphQL. * Working knowledge or conceptual familiarity with MongoDB or NoSQL Databases * Familiarity with NUnit for automated testing * Familiarity with secure authentication via OAuth and ASP.NET Identity.
