Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on
fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound
confidence.
Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix and Steuerbot, is a compassionate group
of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT
security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its
customers since its founding in 2016.
Taxfix is building a portfolio of AI-native, SaaS-oriented businesses across different stages of maturity — from established
profit pools to scaling businesses and earlier-stage growth bets.
We are looking for senior commercial leaders who can take ownership of one of these business areas and build it into a focused,
repeatable, and durable growth engine.
This role is for high-agency commercial builders who combine strong revenue ownership, sharp customer understanding, and
disciplined execution with the ability to operate in ambiguity, experiment quickly, and make clear strategic choices.
You will report to the COO or a designated business line leader and work closely with a senior product counterpart in a joint
business-building setup. You will own the commercial side of the business while shaping shared priorities across product,
monetization, and growth.
You will partner closely with Product, Marketing/Growth, Sales, Partnerships, Operations/Service Delivery, Finance, Legal,
Data/Analytics, and People. The initial focus is Germany, with potential to support expansion into additional markets.
The exact scope will depend on your experience spike and where we see the strongest fit.
Own commercial strategy and outcomes. Define growth ambition, profitability targets, commercial priorities, and the execution
roadmap for a major business area.
Make key commercial choices. Shape ICP, segmentation, positioning, value proposition, pricing, packaging, channels, and customer
lifecycle.
Build repeatable growth loops. Improve acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, expansion, and win-back through disciplined
experimentation.
Lead revenue generation. Build or scale the right commercial motion — product-led, sales-assisted, partner-led, account-based,
lifecycle-driven, or hybrid.
Partner closely with Product. Work with a senior product counterpart on roadmap implications, monetization priorities, and
business-critical product choices.
Establish performance discipline. Define KPIs, forecasting, dashboards, review rituals, and accountability mechanisms.
Build strong teams. Hire, coach, and raise the bar for commercial talent while creating clear ownership and leadership capacity.
Manage complexity. Anticipate regulatory, operational, data, partner, and compliance risks and create practical guardrails.
Success depends on the maturity and economics of the business you lead.
In more mature businesses, success may mean sharper focus, stronger pricing and commercial discipline, better profitability,
healthier cash generation, and durable growth.
In scaling or earlier-stage businesses, success may mean clearer ICP and positioning, stronger conversion and retention, validated
propositions and channels, healthier unit economics, and repeatable growth loops.
Across all cases, success means stronger commercial judgment, faster learning, better execution, and tight alignment between
product direction, monetization, and business outcomes.
platforms, marketplaces, fintech, or B2B services is strongly preferred.

cash implications.
We are hiring across several priority business lines and do not expect every candidate to cover all of them. We are especially
interested in profiles with one or more of the following spikes:
Consumer SaaS / self-service
Experience scaling consumer SaaS, subscription, or product-led growth businesses with high-volume digital funnels, including
conversion, lifecycle, retention, pricing, experimentation, and efficient acquisition.
Consumer SaaS / expert-assisted services
Experience scaling SaaS subscription businesses where software and service delivery are deeply connected, including expert
support, operations, quality control, capacity planning, and service economics.
SaaS for self-employed professionals
Experience building and scaling Business SaaS solutions for self-employed professionals, SMEs, accountants, or similar B2B
ecosystems, including sales-led or partner-led GTM, onboarding, retention, expansion, and platform monetization.

At Superchat, we're rebuilding how businesses talk to their customers. The phone call, the contact form, the support ticket: all of it is being replaced by messaging and AI. We're building the platform that runs underneath. Founded in 2020, Superchat has become the platform of choice for 10,000+ businesses worldwide, from globally recognized brands like Allianz, Auto1, Enpal, Danone, and GASAG to the small businesses, dental practices, and one-person startups that need to look bigger than they are. Today, millions of messages flow through Superchat every single day. We started as a unified inbox: one place for every channel a customer might pick, WhatsApp, email, SMS, Instagram. Then ChatGPT happened, and the second chapter began: AI agents that respond across chat, email, and voice at the quality of the best human teams. We're 100 people, profitable, and have raised €18M in funding (last round 4.5 years ago, we've been growing on our own money since). Headquartered in Berlin. WHO WE WANT Senior commercial leader. You bring 7+ years in B2B SaaS, with significant time at the Head of / Director or VP level leading revenue-generating organizations at meaningful scale. Has unified a revenue organization. You have brought commercial functions - Sales, Partner, Marketing alignment, RevOps, and Customer Success - into one coherent revenue engine, and you understand how the parts compound when run as a system rather than silos. Operated through scaling phases. You have stewarded a sales or revenue organization through a critical scaling phase and have seen first-hand where structures, processes, and people models break. Builder of scalable commercial systems. You have designed and run funnel architectures, forecasting cadences, performance frameworks, and quota models - with discipline and consistency, not just on paper. Strategic and data-driven operator. You translate company-level objectives into quarterly targets, sales motions, and team-level priorities. You run the organization against the numbers, not against opinions. SMB to Mid-Market fluency. You understand the economics, motion, and team dynamics of selling to SMB and Mid-Market customers, and know how to balance velocity with deal quality. High standards, low ego. You combine executive presence with a hands-on builder's mentality, and lead through clarity and example rather than hierarchy. German is a plus. A good working understanding of German is welcome, but not a requirement. WHO WE DON'T WANT Strong operator without strategic range. You execute well on a defined plan, but have not yet led at the level of org design, headcount strategy, and cross-functional revenue planning. Single-function thinker. You think strictly in sales metrics and have not worked closely with Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success as one revenue system with shared targets and shared accountability. Needs a fully built environment. You rely on mature enablement, RevOps, or people functions being in place, rather than shaping and scaling them as the organization grows. First-time senior revenue leader. You are stepping into a senior revenue leadership role for the first time and have not yet steered an organization through a scaling phase. YOUR DAY TO DAY * You lead the Inbound Sales department of ~25 Account Executive across multiple markets, and act as the connective tissue across the wider revenue organization * You own the commercial forecast; pipeline health, conversion, deal cycle, and segment performance and translate the numbers into focused executive decisions * You sponsor strategically critical deals and engage personally where executive presence accelerates outcomes * You design and continuously improve funnel structure, segmentation, and scalable sales standards across the organization * You lead, coach, and develop Account Executive, raising the performance bar through structured 1:1s, calibration, and clear career frameworks * You partner with the CEO and executive team on commercial strategy, org design, and headcount planning WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE US * Mission that matters. Real impact * Executive-level ownership. A rare mandate to shape and unify the entire revenue organization during a defining growth phase * Funded with conviction. $18M raised with a strong trajectory toward profitability * Modern revenue stack. Clean CRM foundation, strong RevOps capability, and a high-quality inbound engine to build on * End-to-end leadership scope. Influence revenue strategy, org design, commercial execution, and cross-functional collaboration end-to-end * Direct feedback culture. Transparent, respectful, and candid communication across all levels of the organization Benefits & Culture * Choose between an Urban Sports Club/John Reed membership or a public transport/Dance subscription * Regular company and team events * Annual personal development budget of €500 for conferences, courses, books, career coaching, and more * An inclusive and ambitious startup culture that enables fast professional and personal growth * Beautiful office in the heart of Berlin (Prenzlauer Allee 242) with free snacks, drinks, and top-notch equipment We want to build a community, not just a company. It's important to us to create an environment where people genuinely enjoy spending time together - whether that's through HYROX training, golfing, beer pong tournaments, running clubs, Warhammer, weekend activities, or whatever kind of community you'd like to help build here. We are looking for people with passion, grit, and integrity. You are encouraged to apply even if your experience does not precisely match the description. At Superchat, we welcome diverse perspectives and rigorous thinkers. We look forward to your application. 🙂
OUR STORY: Every year millions of people are either filing their taxes in fear or giving up on their tax refund altogether. We're working on fixing that. Our intuitive app enables anyone, regardless of education or background, to file their taxes with newfound confidence. Spread across Germany, Spain and the UK, the team at Taxfix Group with its brands Taxfix, Steuerbot and TaxScouts, is a compassionate group of solution-finders. We speak our minds openly, and with over 400 professionals, including tax experts, developers, and IT security experts, we're rich in ideas and voices. The group has facilitated more than 3.5 billion euros in tax refunds for its customers since its founding in 2016. YOUR OPPORTUNITY: AI is fundamentally changing how people optimize their taxes. The playbook that built our self-filing business over the last decade won't be the one that grows it over the next five. This role exists to write the new one. Taxfix's self-filing product is what put us on the map nearly 10 years ago, and it remains the core of our business today spanning both the Taxfix and Steuerbot brands in Germany. But the market is shifting fast: consumer expectations, competitive dynamics, and the products themselves are all being reshaped by AI. As Director of Product for Self-Filing, you will own our core self-filing product lines. You set the product vision, lead the strategy, and drive the quality of execution across a set of high-autonomy Builder teams. You work as a duo with the Commercial leader of your business area. The Commercial leader owns the what, why, and how much. The Director of Product owns the how — the product vision, the roadmap, the craft, and the delivery. You'll report directly to the Chief Product Officer, with full senior sponsorship to move fast and make the big calls. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DECISIONS: * Own the product vision and roadmap. You set the product direction for self-filing in Germany and make it clear to the builders working with you, to your commercial partner, and to leadership. You make trade-offs visible and hold the line when priorities need protecting. * Shape the two-brand strategy. Taxfix and Steuerbot are two trusted brands serving the same market. You'll play a central role in how they evolve: where they converge and where they stay distinct. * Build the AI-native product. You've been applying AI as a design lens, not following the trend. You have a clear POV on where AI removes genuine cognitive load in the filing journey and where it's noise. You push the team to build experiences that weren't possible 18 months ago and to reimagine filing itself: from a once-a-year event into a year round optimization experience. * Grow beyond filing into wealth creation. This area is evolving from a once-a-year filing product into a broader, year-round financial relationship. You'll help shape and build the relationship to adjacent financial services that deepen value for users and give them a reason to stay with us between filing seasons. * Be the definitive authority on the user. You've done more user interviews than most of the team combined. You describe your users as people, not segments, and you use that to kill bad ideas early and back good ones hard. Your instincts come from direct contact, not distance. * Lead your Builder teams. Small, high-autonomy teams who own the full loop from idea to production. You set the bar for craft, give them a vision sharp enough to act on, and create the conditions where ambitious work and fast execution coexist. You raise the floor and push the ceiling. * Prioritise ruthlessly in a competitive market. This is a fiercely contested space with strong, sometimes free, alternatives. You decide what not to do as clearly as what to do, and you grow the product through focus, not by trying to do everything. * Push the team on experimentation. You treat experimentation as an engine of product decisions, not a nice-to-have. A/B tests, bandits, and how fast the team can run, read, and act on experiments are first-class metrics you own and push relentlessly. * Be the commercial partner, not the commercial owner. Your duo partner owns the P&L. Your job is to translate their ambition into a product that can deliver it and to push back clearly when the product path and the commercial ask don't align. You hold the quality bar even when the pressure is to ship faster or cut corners. * Own delivery transparency. What's in flight, what's at risk, what's shipping and when. If something will be late or descoped, you say so early to your teams, your partner, and upward. No surprises. YOUR PROFILE: * You've led product at a high-growth B2C consumer tech company and delivered results under real commercial pressure. You've owned a multi-team product area, not a single feature stream. * You've grown a major product line in a fiercely competitive market and you know how to decide what not to do. * You optimise for the company's outcome, not your org's size. You've made calls that were right for the user and the business even when they didn't maximise your own product area. * You've built something real users love and you can describe exactly why it worked, what metric moved, and what you'd do differently. * You've shipped AI products that changed user behaviour. In production, used at scale. * You've led people and raised the bar. People who've worked with you got better, and you can name how. * You believe experimentation is key to products that win. You're fluent in testing methods (A/B, bandits), you treat experimentation velocity as a metric that matters, and you make calls from evidence rather than opinion. * You've built a product vision from scratch and got an organization to follow it because the argument was clear, not because of authority. * You've made hard trade-offs visible and held the line when everything felt urgent. * You are genuinely AI-native. You use AI in your own practice daily with workflows, coding assistants, real product problems as a way of working. * You're fluent in English and German, given the primary market and the teams you'll lead. WHY TAXFIX? * A chance to do meaningful, people-centric work with an international team of passionate professionals. * Holistic well-being with free mental health coaching sessions and yoga. * A monthly allowance to spend on an extensive range of services that you can use and roll over as flexibly as you like. * Employee stock options for all employees—because everyone deserves to benefit from the success they help to create. * 30 annual vacation days and flexible working hours. * Work from abroad for up to six weeks every year. Just align with your team, and then enjoy your trip. * Plenty of opportunities to socialise as a team. In addition to internal tech meetups, our international team hosts regular get-togethers—virtually and in person when possible. * Free tax declaration filing, of course, through the Taxfix app—and internal support for all personal tax-related questions. * Have a four-legged friend in your life? We’re happy to have dogs join us in the office. Excited? So are we. Learn more about Team Taxfix on our blog and get a glimpse of our culture. At Taxfix, we believe that incredible things happen when you have a wealth of perspectives and experiences.
