Welche Botschaften erzeugen
Nachfrage?
So
sorgst du dafür, dass gute Ideen nicht einmalig bleiben, sondern skalierbar werden.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES IN THIS ROLE? We're a team of roughly 80 people operating across international markets. We move fast, stay close to our clients, and build things that actually work. As we enter our next phase of growth, we're looking for a VP Growth to lead our commercial function and help define what that growth looks like. The Role This is not a pure sales closer role. Our team already has strong operators closing deals. What we need now is a strategic leader: someone who can set direction, build the systems, and elevate the people already doing good work. You will own the entire commercial function: revenue targets, sales strategy, pipeline quality, new product go-to-market, and team development. You'll report directly to the CMO and work closely with RevOps, marketing (Melissa Bohlsen), and our OEM partners. Your Mission * Own the commercial strategy: set and monitor revenue targets, design and enforce sales processes, and drive pipeline health across the team * Lead new product go-to-market: build the sales materials, run pilot pitches with advertisers, train the team, and own first-revenue milestones for every new product AVOW launches * Be the senior sparring partner the team needs: challenge thinking, mentor team leads, and manage strong personalities with clarity and respect * Bring industry authority: your deep knowledge of mobile OEM advertising or major app ecosystems means you'll catch what others miss — in contracts, in processes, in market positioning * Collaborate cross-functionally with RevOps, marketing, and events teams to ensure commercial and content strategy are aligned * Build and nurture relationships with external partners — acting as a credible counterpart for both advertisers and supply partners, and navigating complex conversations on behalf of the business * Identify and remove the blockers that slow the team down — working with supply, RevOps, and cross-functional partners to resolve friction points and keep the sales machine running at full speed WHAT ARE THE STRENGTHS, TRANSFERABLE SKILLS, AND BEHAVIORS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE? Must-haves * 5–10+ years in mobile ad tech, OEM advertising, or major app ecosystem advertising — you know this industry from the inside * Proven experience managing and developing sales teams: you are a mentor and a sparring partner first, not just a top performer * Track record of owning GTM strategy for new products — from zero to revenue * Strong commercial instincts: you can set targets, architect processes, and spot errors in contracts or workflows before they become problems * Fluent English; comfortable operating across time zones and international markets Nice-to-haves * Direct experience with mobile OEM ad platforms (Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei, OPPO, vivo, Transsion) * An existing network of advertisers or agencies in gaming, fintech, e-commerce, or betting verticals * Familiarity with HubSpot and RevOps workflows * Based in Berlin or open to relocating; German language skills are a bonus We know that individuals who identify as women, trans, or non-binary tend to hesitate to apply unless they meet almost all the requirements. If that resonates with you: we're more interested in your potential than your ability to tick every box. Apply anyway! On compensation — at AVOW, pay is structured around a clear grade and level framework, with decisions based on objective criteria: your experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility, and role-specific requirements. We will discuss the details from our very first conversation. WHAT DOES OUR HIRING PROCESS LOOK LIKE? * Intro call: a casual conversation with our People & Culture team — we tell you the real story, you tell us yours * Deep dive: an honest discussion with the hiring manager about the role, the team, and what success actually looks like * Problem-solving & presentation: you work through a real commercial challenge and share your thinking * Meet the team: an informal coffee with a potential future colleague — no agenda, just people WHAT DO WE OFFER? * A genuinely global commercial role with direct strategic impact * C-level reporting line and involvement in company direction * Learning & development opportunities * Sabbatical policy * Subsidies for public transportation, sports, and German courses * Bike leasing programme * Health insurance coverage for you and your family * A team that is experienced, innovative, and diverse We look forward to hearing from you!

THE JOB The Company: Why mute-labs? At mute-labs, we don’t do "VC-driven burnout" or toxic sales floors. We are a self-funded, sustainable team on a mission to bring quiet to the world’s loudest offices. We design and build high-quality acoustic booths that actually make sense for the modern workplace. We don't just sell "booths", we sell focus and office sanity. We are looking for a Full-Cycle BDR for the Benelux market who wants to own the entire journey, from the first "hello" to the final handshake. The Role: Consulting, Not Just Calling You aren't here to read a script. You are here to help companies in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg design better workspaces. * Fresh Inbound Leads: Forget "smiling and dialing" into the void. You’ll be the first point of contact for high-quality leads, people who are already curious about what we do. * Pipeline Architecture: You’ll identify and reach out to key decision-makers (Facility Managers, HR Leads, Founders), building a pipeline based on quality over quantity. * End-to-End Ownership: You’ll identify prospects, lead discovery calls, perform demos, and close the deals. You get the satisfaction of seeing your hard work turn into a physical booth in a client's office. * No "Elbows Out": We don’t work with commission. Why? Because we want you to do what is best for the client and the team, not your bonus check. We offer a competitive, stable base salary because we trust your intrinsic motivation. A Day in the Life We are an office-first culture. We believe the best sales strategies happen over a shared coffee, not a Slack thread. * 09:00 | Morning Vibe: Walk into our high-energy office in Berlin Mitte. Grab a coffee, check the latest leads, and map out your day. * 09:30 | The Action Phase: You’re on the phone or video, consulting fresh leads about their office challenges and booking demos. * 11:00 | Strategy Huddle: A quick catch-up with Lola (Country Manager) or Jarno (Sales Director) to talk about a specific deal or a new market trend you’ve spotted. * 12:30 | The Family Table: We eat together. On Fridays, one team cooks for the entire company. Whether it's pasta, tacos, or a local favorite, we bond over food. * 14:30 | Market Mastery: You lead discovery demos. You’re listening more than talking, identifying the "pain points" of a noisy office. * 18:00 | The Close: Wrap up the CRM, update your pipeline, and head out. We respect your "offline" time. Pulse & Pints Friday Every Friday, we close the week together. * The Pulse: A team huddle to review the numbers, share company updates, and celebrate the people who went the extra mile. * The Pints: We transition into the weekend with drinks (alcoholic or 0.0%) and a sense of collective achievement. Our Hiring Process: Fast & Transparent We know you’re talented, so we won’t keep you waiting. 1. The Spark: A quick screening call with Lia to see if our values align. 2. The Market Fit: A deep dive with Lola (Country Manager) and Jarno (Sales Director) into your sales DNA. 3. The Commercial View: A conversation with Leah (Head of Commercial) about our growth strategy. 4. The Live Action: A "Discovery" roleplay with the team. No homework - just show us how you handle a real client conversation. 5. The Vision: A final interview with our CEO to discuss the big picture and your future here. Is this you? * The Self-Driven Hunter: You don't need a commission check to stay hungry. You take pride in hitting targets and helping the company grow. * The Native Communicator: You are fluent in Dutch (and ideally French) to effectively navigate the Benelux market. * The "Full Cycle" Mindset: You love the thrill of finding a lead and the pride of closing the deal yourself. * The Team Player: You hate working in silos. You want to share your wins and help your teammates with theirs. Are you ready to bring the quiet? If you’re looking for a sales role where you’re treated like a professional, supported by a world-class team, and fueled by a great office culture, we want to meet you. [Apply Now – We’ll get back to you faster than you think!] ABOUT US Here at mute-labs, we aim to enable companies to achieve more by democratizing silence in the workspace. And we’re not like any other Berlin start-up you might know: * We’re “no tech”: We know how to develop and sell great hardware products with a focus on sound-insulated phone- and meeting booths. * We have no investors and we really don’t want any. We've been profitable since day one. * We continue to have a steep growth curve – not in employees or coffee cups consumed, but in revenue and profit. * We’re not striving for an exit – we’re building a sustainable business for many generations to come. Wondering what it's like to work here? We made a reel about it! Are you as excited about mute-labs as we are? Then we are looking forward to getting to know you!
