We enable anyone to be an investor. Our mission is to grow investing opportunities for all European customers and businesses. By
empowering FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products, we help create financial well-being for their
customers.
lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform: simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API-first
infrastructure abstracts brokerage complexity with a well-documented API, a self-service customer operations portal, and a clear
regulatory framework, so partners can launch customer-centric, compliant products in weeks, not months.
As part of the dwpbank group, we’re adding a layer of resources and expertise to benefit from, while continuing to operate as an
independent fintech with our own team, product, and start-up identity under the dwpbank umbrella.
As a Founder’s Associate, you will work closely with the Founder and CEO and leadership team to help drive the company’s strategic
priorities and operational execution.
In this role, you will take ownership of high-impact, cross-functional projects across the business. These may range from
supporting strategic initiatives in commercial, product, and operations teams to improving internal processes, building
organisational structures, and helping ensure alignment as the company scales.
This role is ideal for someone who is excited by our mission of enabling anyone to invest in capital markets. You will be close to
many strategic initiatives and interact beyond lemon.markets towards our parent company, dwpbank. You will get the best of both
worlds: the opportunity to work closely with experienced experts across functions while taking on meaningful ownership in a
dynamic and ambitious environment.
This is going to be the ride of a lifetime for someone, who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving ambiguous
problems, and wants to gain first-hand experience in how a high-growth fintech infrastructure company is built.

ABOUT LEMON.MARKETS 🍋 We enable anyone to be an investor. Our mission is to grow investing opportunities for all European customers and businesses. By empowering FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products, we help create financial well-being for their customers. lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform: simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API-first infrastructure abstracts brokerage complexity with a well-documented API, a self-service customer operations portal, and a clear regulatory framework, so partners can launch customer-centric, compliant products in weeks, not months. As part of the dwpbank group, we’re adding a layer of resources and expertise to benefit from, while continuing to operate as an independent fintech with our own team, product, and start-up identity under the dwpbank umbrella. YOUR MISSION: As a Founder’s Associate Intern, you will support the leadership team here at lemon.markets, making sure the business grows & runs smoothly, ensuring alignment across all business areas. You will work on a selection of diverse projects ranging from Strategy & Operations, to Business Development & Go-to-Market. These projects are hard to forecast and will highly depend on needs evolving from the phase lemon.markets is in, as well as hugely on your interests and the skill set you already bring along. You’ll get the best of both worlds: Experience first-hand how an early-stage start-up is being built, enjoy & benefit from a fast-paced and flexible environment, while working closely with experienced experts in their field. That means you will not only support and leverage your skill set, but learn & grow by taking on projects with a high degree of ownership. YOU WILL: * Support the leadership team on strategic projects: Help develop business strategies & execute on them, making sure we stay aligned with our company goals & objectives. * Further, define & develop our GTM strategy: Continuously research and analyse market trends, conduct competitor activities, and stay up to date with the changing Brokerage landscape in Europe. * Drive various strategic initiatives to help us prepare for our growth post launch, ramping up business operations and ensuring operational excellence. * Critically question, analyse and improve existing processes. Constantly aim to improve our existing setup, build world-class processes around it, that enable us to have a smoothly running organisation. WHO ARE YOU: * You have a background in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer science or a similar area. * You are an entrepreneurial problem solver. You strive to take ownership of the tasks you get and apply your analytical skills, structured thinking, and independent working style towards solving them. * You have gained hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You understand what working in a startup or a similar lean organisation is like. Ideally, you have worked in an early-stage startup, fintech, consulting, tech company or similar. * You are ready and willing to take ownership. “This is not my job!” is not part of your vocabulary - you identify problems, take initiative to take them on, and challenge the status quo. * You cope well with frequent change and ambiguity. Changing tasks & requirements excite you. You are able to think logically, break down complex problems and prioritise between multiple tasks on your table. * You have a hands-on mentality. You default into action, want to gather first learnings fast, and iterate on the progress along the way. * You are a team player. Working together as a team and sharing knowledge comes naturally to you. * You have no problem with learning new tools and skills on the go. You try to solve problems with more things than the ones you already know. We will always enable you with that, but your willingness has to come first. How we take care of you: * 🚀 Compensation package: Our Interns are compensated at a fixed rate of €2,425 per month. * 💎 Make a real impact: Our start-up environment gives you the room to start your career, explore areas outside your role, and build expertise through ownership. As we mature and are backed by dwpbank, we’re adding a layer of resources and expertise you are benefiting from. * 🕑 Flexible working hours: We trust people to choose when they work best and avoid a rigid 9 to 5 mindset. You decide on the rhythm that helps you do your best work, with only shared core hours from 12:00 to 16:00 to support collaboration. * 🏢 Hybrid work setup: You can work from Berlin within a hybrid model. However, we strongly encourage our internship “lemoneers” to spend at least 3 days or more per week in the office. Being on-site allows you to learn faster, provides a more immersive experience, helps you collaborate more effectively with the team, and ensures you fully benefit from hands-on support. * 📈 Grow with us: We take your personal development seriously! You’ll get regular mentorship and stretch opportunities, plus a clear career development framework with frequent feedback conversations so you always know where you stand, and what to do to level up. * 🌱 People & culture: You’ll feel our culture in the small things, like polaroids from our lemoneers’ first day, Friday food market strolls at Maybachufer, and our monthly new-joiner breakfast. But also in the bigger things: celebrating the onboarding of new partners, growing our teams, and owning a strong discussion culture. * 🏝 Workation: Get out of here! At lemon.markets you can work remotely from anywhere in the EU for up to 10 consecutive days at a time, and up to 60 days per year in total. As an equal opportunity employer, lemon.markets is committed to building an inclusive workplace. The company welcomes people from all different backgrounds, including age, citizenship, ethnic and racial origins, gender identities, individuals with disabilities, marital status, religions and ideologies, and sexual orientations to apply. Are you hungry to get your hands dirty and gain real startup experience? At doinstruct, you'll sit next to doinstruct's founders and the Chief of Staff for 3-6 months, not shadow from the sidelines. You decide which workflows are worth automating, build them yourself, and ship. Every project you take on has to clear one bar: a 3-5x return in hours saved, revenue generated, or decisions unblocked. If it doesn't clear that bar, we don't build it. Quick Facts: 🗓️ Start date: Flexible ⏳ Duration: 3-6 months 📍 Location: Prenzlauer Berg near Senefelder Platz (U2), Berlin. In-office, at least 4 days a week. 🧑🚀 Reports to: Founders Charlotte and Mona 💼 Level: Internship, generalist with builder DNA 🛠️ WHAT YOU'LL DO * Work directly with leadership on cross-functional initiatives across GTM, Product, and Ops. * Find the highest-leverage workflows in the company, redesign them around Claude agents, MCPs, and Skills, ship them, measure the lift. * Build the automations yourself, in Claude Code, GitHub, n8n or Zapier, and directly inside HubSpot and Notion. * Own projects end to end: brief, plan, execute, retro. 🤖 HOW WE WORK * Pick your Claude tool by what the problem needs: Cowork for anything multi-step and messy, Code when something has to run, Sonnet or Opus for the genuinely hard stuff, Haiku for volume. * Anything you'd do twice gets checked into GitHub as a skill or an agent, so it's still there after you move on. * "Claude said so" doesn't fly here. "Claude said so, here's how I checked" does. * You don't need a CS degree. You do need to be comfortable opening a terminal and figuring it out. 📈 WHERE THIS CAN LEAD A strong internship is the fastest path into a full-time Founder's Associate or functional role at doinstruct. Not guaranteed, but real. 🧭 WHO YOU ARE * Top 5% of your peers, provable through founding experience, a leadership track record, grades (3rd semester+, 1.8+ GPA), or an unusual builder résumé. * 2+ internships at a top startup, consultancy, VC/PE, or investment bank, or equivalent founding experience. * AI-native, not AI-curious. You already use Claude, Cursor, or similar day to day, and you've shipped at least one prototype or automation, or you're ready to ship your first one in week 1. * You measure impact in hours saved and revenue generated, not slides produced. * Real empathy for blue-collar and frontline work. Time in food, manufacturing, construction, or logistics is a plus, not a requirement. * Fluent in German and English. 🎁 WHAT WE OFFER * Direct impact: your work reaches thousands of frontline workers, and shows up in company metrics within your first weeks. * Full ownership from day one on projects that would normally sit with someone years more senior. * Competitive intern compensation: this isn't an unpaid internship, we expect a lot and pay accordingly. * The AI tooling budget you'd expect: Claude Max, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, n8n or Zapier. * Backed by over €25M in Seed & Series A funding from HV Capital, Creandum, HTGF, and D11Z, so the runway matches the ambition. ____ At doinstruct, you can make full use of your skills and play an active role in the further development of our start-up. And yes, we attach great importance to a positive working atmosphere, maximum transparency, communication at eye level, and support every step of your personal and professional development. Even if you don't tick all of the boxes, but you are motivated and want to work with us, you are very welcome to apply. We embrace diversity and hire people based on their ability to perform a job. People of any race, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, political opinion, or marital status are welcome at doinstruct. _ For questions or remarks please reach out to our Talent Acquisition Manager, Leonard, at leonard.mielke@doinstruct.com.
