In addition to traditional carpentry work, we also need candidates with experience in interior system installations. You do not need to be a fully qualified carpenter - practical skills and solid experience are equally valuable.

Carry out installation work independently and as part of a team We are looking for someone who . Has experience with joinery installation or finish carpentry . Can read technical drawings . Uses hand tools and woodworking machines confidently . Works carefully, responsibly, and independently . Has a Category B driving licence . You communicate in English We offer . Careys are recruiting experienced Formwork Carpenters / Shuttering Joiners to join our team on a major civil engineering project in Sheffield (S9). You will support the construction of reinforced concrete structures including foundations, retaining walls, slabs, columns and associated civils works.
Concrete Carpenter – Boden, Sweden We are looking for experienced Shuttering Carpenters to work on construction, civil engineering and industrial projects in Boden, Sweden. This role may also be known as Concrete Formwork Worker, Formwork Carpenter or Concrete Carpenter, depending on the country. Important: Applicants must have EU/EEA citizenship or another valid right to work in Sweden. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Key responsibilities Under the supervision of the Team Leader or Site Supervisor, your main duties will include: · Preparing, setting up and securing the work area and construction site · Reading and interpreting formwork, reinforcement and technical drawings · Building traditional and industrial formwork · Assembling and dismantling formwork panels and shuttering systems · Marking out and setting up structures according to plans · Positioning and fixing reinforcement bars and steel elements · Pouring, vibrating and checking concrete · Manufacturing and installing prefabricated elements when required · Checking alignment, levels and the quality of completed work · Carrying out masonry-related tasks when required · Using site tools and equipment safely · Following HSE procedures and site safety rules at all times · Cleaning and organising the work area after completion Requirements · Qualification or professional training in masonry, formwork, reinforced concrete or a similar construction trade · Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter, Concrete Formwork Worker, Formworker, Formwork Carpenter, Concrete Carpenter or similar role · Experience in construction, civil engineering or industrial projects · Good knowledge of traditional and industrial formwork techniques · Ability to read formwork and reinforcement drawings · Knowledge of construction site safety rules · Experience in traditional or industrial masonry would be an advantage · Ability to work at height and in a construction site environment · Good physical condition and ability to work as part of a team · Reliable, organised, autonomous and respectful of deadlines Working conditions and benefits · Contract length: 11 months, with possibility of extension · Flights and accommodation included · Daily food budget provided Job details Job Type: Contract Work location: In person, Boden, Sweden Open to Europeans Only or SWEDISH work permit Basic English or French preferred How to apply You can apply through the platform or send your CV to: stegra-recruitement@aldelia.com Only candidates with relevant experience and the required work authorisation can be considered.
