The Role We’re looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our engineering team in Belfast, helping ensure the quality of the software we deliver across a range of projects. This is a hands-on role where you’ll focus on building out automation, improving test coverage, and working closely with engineers to make quality part of the development process, not something that happens at the end. You’ll be working in fast-moving, agile teams, contributing to how we test, release, and continuously improve the systems we build. What You’ll Be Doing * Build and maintain automated tests for web-based applications using tools like Playwright * Automate tests across both user interfaces and backend services * Expand and maintain automated regression test suites to support reliable releases * Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery * Contribute to test strategies and quality approaches across projects * Set up and manage test environments and test data as required * Identify defects, track them through to resolution, and help ensure root causes are understood * Communicate testing progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to the wider team * Participate fully in agile ceremonies, contributing to planning, refinement, and continuous improvement What We’re Looking For * 5+ years’ experience in a QA or software testing role * Strong experience with test automation strategies for web applications * Experience working with test frameworks in Playwright (or similar tools) * A good understanding of different testing types (functional, integration, regression, etc.) * Experience working in agile, delivery-focused teams * Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g. GitHub, Jenkins or similar) * Strong attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to testing * Clear communication skills and the ability to work closely with engineers and stakeholders Nice to Have * Experience testing cloud-based systems (AWS or similar) * Exposure to API or service-level testing * Experience of using AI tools to support testing efforts * Familiarity with performance or non-functional testing approaches * An interest in improving QA processes and tooling * Experience working across multiple projects or client environments Please note: We offer flexible hybrid working, but candidates should be based in Northern Ireland and able to attend our Belfast office when required. We are looking for a Senior Penetration Tester with CHECK to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality penetration testing engagements across infrastructure, cloud, web, and mobile applications for a diverse range of clients, including software, fintech, manufacturing, engineering, legal, and public sector organisations. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will help identify and remediate security weaknesses, while contributing to the development of our methodologies and mentoring junior testers. Essential Skills * CHECK Team Member (CTM) status * Current UK Security Clearance. * At least 2+ years of penetration testing experience. * Strong experience with web application and network penetration testing methodologies. * In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows, Active Directory). * Familiarity with cloud environments and ability to perform cloud security reviews. * Proficiency with tools such as BurpSuite Pro, Nmap, Nessus, and Kali Linux. * Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.). The Role We are looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Cyber Consultancy team in Belfast. This is a hands-on consulting role focused on delivering cybersecurity and information security engagements, with a strong emphasis on ISO27001 implementations, audit readiness, and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). You will lead client engagements end-to-end, from initial assessment through to implementation and audit, working closely with client stakeholders to deliver practical, measurable outcomes. What You Will Do Engagement Delivery: * Lead new and existing information and cybersecurity engagements. * Deliver ISO27001 implementations, from gap assessment through to certification readiness. * Deliver cyber incident exercising, including tabletop scenarios and simulations. Audit & Assurance: * Lead internal audits aligned to ISO27001. * Support clients through external audits and certification processes. * Drive remediation activities to close audit findings and strengthen control effectiveness. Risk & Compliance: * Conduct risk assessments and support the development of risk treatment plans. * Develop and implement policies, standards, and controls aligned to ISO27001. * Support clients in embedding effective governance, risk, and compliance practices. Stakeholder Management: * Work directly with client stakeholders to manage delivery, expectations, and outcomes. * Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. * Manage multiple engagements and priorities effectively. What You Will Bring Essential: * Minimum 5 years’ experience in cyber or information security roles, with a focus on governance, risk, and compliance. * Proven experience delivering ISO27001 implementations end-to-end, including audit readiness. * Hands-on experience leading internal audits and supporting external audits. * Strong, practical knowledge of ISO27001 and ISMS implementation. * ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification. * Experience in consulting or project-based environments, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Nice to Have: * Experience delivering cyber incident exercising. * Knowledge of additional frameworks such as: * CAF (Cyber Assessment Framework) * NIST Cyber Security Framework * ISO22301 Lead Auditor certification (Business Continuity). * ISO42001 Lead Auditor certification (AI Management Systems). * Experience working in regulated or public sector environments. * Eligibility for, or holding, UK Security Clearance (SC).
