These bad actors may conduct fake interviews and ask for personal information, such as your social security number. What to know: * Commvault does not conduct interviews by email or text. * We will never ask you to submit sensitive documents (including banking information, SSN, etc) before your first day. If you suspect a recruiting scam, please contact us at wwrecruitingteam@commvault.com [wwrecruitingteam@commvault.com] About Commvault Commvault (NASDAQ: CVLT) is the gold standard in cyber resilience. The company empowers customers to uncover, take action, and rapidly recover from cyberattacks – keeping data safe and businesses resilient. The company’s unique AI-powered platform combines best-in-class data protection, exceptional data security, advanced data intelligence, and lightning-fast recovery across any workload or cloud at the lowest TCO. For over 25 years, more than 100,000 organizations and a vast partner ecosystem have relied on Commvault to reduce risks, improve governance, and do more with data. Clumio by Commvault is a leader in cloud-native cyber resilience. The product is a purpose-built SaaS platform designed to solve the "data protection gap" in high-scale cloud environments. The platform empowers organizations to protect their most critical data assets, such as Amazon S3, DynamoDB, and Apache Iceberg, with unprecedented scale and simplicity. The team operates at the intersection of extreme scale and data security. We are known for engineering solutions that handle the world's most demanding data environments, protecting billions of objects across services like Amazon S3 and DynamoDB where traditional legacy architectures fail. This is an exciting time to be joining the team as we are moving beyond our core success in AWS data protection to tackle the broader challenges of the multi-cloud era. The broader goal is to provide enterprises with a unified lens for visibility, compliance, and resilience, ensuring that as data grows, it remains both secure and recoverable. You will play a pivotal role in integrating AI-driven intelligence into our products, helping us shift from reactive recovery to proactive data resilience and governance across a diverse, multi-cloud landscape. About the Role We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the AI and platform capabilities at the core of Clumio's cyber resilience offering. You'll define how intelligence is woven into the product—from anomaly detection and threat insights to automated recovery guidance—while owning the end-to-end platform experience that customers use every day: how they create and manage protection policies, control access, consume the product, and get visibility through reporting. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can operate from strategy to spec: setting vision, making hard prioritization calls, and partnering deeply with engineering, design, and go-to-market to ship products that customers trust with their most critical data. You'll sit at the intersection of AI, data protection, and cloud infrastructure, translating a fast-moving technical space into a roadmap that moves the business forward. What You'll Do * Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Clumio's AI and platform capabilities, aligning them to a multi-cloud resilience and governance strategy. * Own the end-to-end platform user experience—policy creation and management, role-based access control (RBAC), consumption and onboarding flows, and reporting and dashboards—ensuring the product is intuitive at both individual and enterprise scale. * Define and prioritize AI-driven features—such as anomaly and ransomware detection, data classification, risk scoring, and intelligent recovery recommendations—that move customers from reactive recovery to proactive resilience. * Shape the platform services (APIs, data pipelines, extensibility, and governance frameworks) that allow protection and intelligence capabilities to scale across services like Amazon S3, DynamoDB, and Apache Iceberg, and into new clouds. * Partner closely with engineering across the full product lifecycle: discovery, requirements, prioritization, launch, and iteration. * Translate deep customer and market insight into clear requirements, making sharp trade-offs on scope, scale, and time-to-market. * Work with security, compliance, and design partners to ensure the platform and its AI features are trustworthy, explainable, and enterprise-grade. * Define success metrics, instrument the product, and use data to guide the roadmap. * Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer teams on positioning, pricing, packaging, and launch of new capabilities. * Act as a cross-functional leader and the voice of both the customer and the business, aligning stakeholders around a shared plan. What We're Looking For * 6+ years of product management experience, ideally in cloud infrastructure, data platforms, data protection, or security (B2B/enterprise SaaS). * Track record of owning platform or core product surfaces end to end—policy/workflow management, RBAC and permissions, admin and consumption experiences, or reporting and analytics. * Demonstrated experience shipping AI/ML-powered features or data-intensive products—familiarity with modern AI approaches (e.g., anomaly detection, classification, LLM/agentic workflows) and a clear grasp of their trade-offs. * Strong technical foundation: comfortable partnering with engineers on architecture, APIs, and platform design, and reasoning about systems at scale. * Working knowledge of public cloud (AWS strongly preferred; Azure/GCP a plus) and core data services such as object storage and NoSQL databases. * Proven ability to turn ambiguous, fast-moving problem spaces into clear strategy and executable roadmaps. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management—able to influence across engineering, design, and go-to-market without direct authority. * Customer-obsessed and data-driven, with strong analytical and prioritization skills. * Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent experience. Nice to Have * Experience in backup, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, or data governance/compliance. * Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and data-lake/table formats such as Apache Iceberg. * Advanced degree in a technical or business discipline. You’ll Love Working Here Because * Collaborate with amazing, driven, and supportive team members. * Enjoy continuous professional growth through product training, development programs, and clear career pathways. * Work on high-impact, large-scale cloud data protection systems used by global enterprises. * Thrive in an inclusive, open culture with opportunities to connect through our community groups. * Take advantage of generous global benefits tailored to support your well-being. * Receive competitive compensation that reflects your impact. * Share in our success through our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
