Andøya Space er i vekst, og vi søker nå flere Operations Specialists til operasjonsteamet.
Som Operations Specialist blir du en del av det operative miljøet og bidrar til planlegging, klargjøring og gjennomføring av operasjoner ved romhavnen. Rollen omfatter flere operative funksjoner knyttet til sikker og effektiv gjennomføring av oppskytningsoperasjoner. Ansvarsområder tildeles basert på kompetanse, erfaring og egnethet, og endelig funksjonstildeling skjer etter gjennomført opplæring og godkjent utsjekk.

Flight Safety Officer (FSO) har ansvaret for flysikkerheten under oppskytning. Rollen overvåker kontinuerlig bærerakettens posisjon i henhold til sikkerhetskriterier og flykorridor. FSO opprettholder løpende situasjonsforståelse for alle relevante flysikkerhetsparametere, og har det eksklusive ansvaret og myndigheten til å beslutte og iverksette terminering av flygningen i henhold til gjeldende sikkerhetskrav og prosedyrer.
Launch Safety Officer (LSO) har det overordnede ansvaret for sikkerheten under oppskytningsoperasjoner. Rollen leder og koordinerer de ulike sikkerhetsfunksjonene i teamet, og opprettholder det samlede situasjonsbildet gjennom kontinuerlig innhenting, sammenstilling og vurdering av informasjon. LSO overvåker fortløpende alle sikkerhetskritiske forhold knyttet til oppskytningen, og vurderer avvik, risikoforhold og endringer i operasjonsbildet som kan påvirke sikkerheten.
